Dear Oregon - the problem with your quote is that Jesus was talking in the present tense, not the future tense. Jesus was still alive when he said it.
Ergo he was talking about his teachings not his sacrificial body as Paul and Church Empires would like you to believe.

Dear Pastor - Don't fool yourself, if you reject Jesus' teachings you have rejected him, -- no matter how many times you say "lord, lord, your body paid the price for my sins" - If it were not for Paul's teachings, you would have never thought of such a diversion of Jesus' teachings.

Dear Paladin - lol -- is your plan really workable, what would have been the incentive for such a thing to happen? What need or objective set up your scenario? - thanks for the imaginative answer.

God shalt no longer welcome heathens into his paradise. Fir whether they sin as quickly as they deserve eternal punishment in his eyes. (John 3:36, John 3:sixteen, John 3:18, John 3:3, Mark sixteen:sixteen, John 5:24, Acts sixteen:31, a million John 5:13, 2 Chronicles 15:13) they say "whosoever" which for sure potential absolutely everyone. We have not defined God, God has done it!
God has defined Atheist also: Fool tells in Heart ... there is no God.
Fools have no place in Heaven.
Going to Church will not make a Christian!
Only Elect will go to Heaven.

God has many names and many faces. I do not want to do God's job by determining who does and doesn't go to heaven. For all my study, and creating a religion that's uniquely my own, I don't agree with anyone in entirety. I'm also aware that there is no way to be completely wrong or completely right as we cann't get our finite minds around an infinite God. God loves us all more than we can understand. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hitler there, he may well have atoned for his sins by the time I get there! The God I believe in does not give up on anyone, unless they are evil through and through with no redeeming qualities.
may peace be with you.

This is actually a fair question. When each of us, my atheist neighbor and myself stands before the throne of God whose beauty and majesty is beyond words, I suspect that we both will find that many perceptions we had about God are wrong.
But in the end, it will still depend on one thing - have we put our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. My sins won't be any worse than my atheist neighbor. The only difference will be whether or not we have accepted the Lordship of Jesus.
Pastor John
Addendum: Well my brother, if you reject the teachings of Paul then you have rejected the Bible. All churches that I am aware of accept the authority of Paul's teachings. Peter affirms in his letters the authority of Paul's teachings. Jesus appeared to Paul (affirmed by the Book of Acts not Paul) and appointed him to his ministry. I accept that authority.

So many ways to go with this one.......you and the athiest should just go down to the pub and have a beer :)Discuss things for awhile and by the time you leave at 2am you will both be going to where ever you want without any problems.

I strive to have the mind and heart of Christ, who is not willing that any should perish. Since I have become a Christian, I have never said "Go to hell," or wished it on anyone. I would greet my Atheist friend and say," Wow, His ways are really higher than ours. I am so glad He had a plan to get you in. Let's go look for Moses. I always wanted to ask him why he hit that rock twice."

The Christian arrives in the afterlife and finds himself in a fire-lit temple before a tribunal of ancient Egyptian gods. As jackal-headed Anubis strides forth, reaching out his hand to rip the Christian's heart from his body, the man's eyes go from a wondrous pair of scales in the center of the room to his erstwhile atheist neighbor standing beside him, who whispers...
"Hmm. Turns out we're both screwed, eh?"

With a great gulf separating the atheist from the believer the atheist will be asking the believer to dip his (believer's) pinkie on the toungue just so to touch the atheist with it. From across the gulf, the believer will answer "I told you"
