Where is locations of oil pump and oil sending unit on a 1990 Dodge Caravan 3.3.
And, Also----- How do you change them?

the oil pump on a 3.3 is actually built into the timing cover. when you remove the cover look at the inside and you will see it. it has 2 flat spots that go over 2 flat spots on the crankshaft to drive it. you do not have to remove the timing chain. you do have to remove the oil pan to remove the pickup from the pump before you can pull the cover off. the oil sending unit is on the left side of the engine (towards teh front of the van) close to the oil filter.

The oil pump is located in the bottom of the engine, inside the oil pan.

oil pump is on the inside of oil pan and the sending unit should be around the oil filter side of motor why whats happening with them.... oil sending unit would be a easy fix one wire and it just screws out no big deal might be hard to get to but other than that ...you could go and buy one and then find it... has for oil pump that will not be so easy should be done by someone who knows

The oil pump is located behind timing chain. timing chain and sprocket have to come off. it is a major under taking if you don't have some major mechanical skills I wouldn't take on the job.
