Sounds like a stupid question, but, will he be born here on earth like a human, and know all of his "life" ... or will he "just appear at some point and time with no definate family lineage...or will he "indwell" in someone? I know we will never really know a definitive answer to this, this side of Heaven, but any ideas based on biblical prophesey?

Why is it the only African American US President is called the Antichrist by some? OK, I am not saying you or any other individual is racist, you could be Black for all I know, but it is strange. Or what about a conservative who uses his religion to possibly excuse invading another country. OK, Bush was not Antichrist and I don't mean he was. But it is just as far from the truth. Was Nixon, possibly the most crooked and dishonest President, at least in recent years, called the Antichrist? I think Hitler was called the Antichrist, maybe Stalin. There can be a lot of Anti-christians but the way I understand it, only one "Antichrist", who will come before the 2nd coming of Christ. He will claim to be God or the Messiah, I have never heard President Obama say anything like that. He is President of the US, not just Christians. He does not have to wear his faith, which I believe is Christian, but don't care, on 'his sleeve', or else be 'antiChrist" When the real one comes, people will feel pretty silly about who they had accused earlier.

yes Lisa, the antichrist knows he is the antichrist; the Bible tells us the antichrist is satan, and all the evil are antichrists:

1John 2:18 - Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1John 2:22 - Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1John 4:3 - And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2John 1:7 - For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

It is likely that both the Christ and the anti-Christ are on the earth now, and both know their identities. Both will have a "family lineage", which will trace not only to earth, but to heaven and hell. Christ was born as human, as in the last time he walked the earth. The anti-Christ was also born human, and is coming into his own right now.

For all people believe they know about Revelation, there is an equal amount they do not know. This was taught to me by my Father, who is also my pastor. For instance, people looking for a rapture need to look beyond the clouds, as they may be blinded to the truth.

It is strange that you ask this question, because someone came up and told me a couple of months ago, out of the blue sky, that they were afraid that "the anti-Christ was coming' I thought this was an unusual statement, especially for someone who was "sane as a judge". This woman was in her 70's and a devout church goer, on the far right. I merely replied, almost by instinct, "yes but the Christ is here also". So I suppose I have held my beliefs for some time now.

No, it's not a stupid question. Alot of debates rage around the globe concerning just this particular question.
The Anti-Christ will know who he is and what his function will be. He is referred to as the "son of perdition" which strongly implies that he will be extremely charismatic and quite possibly a very powerful and persuasive speaker who will mesmerize people where ever he goes.
From my readings, he will definitely be an agent of Rome (possibly a yet future pope) and will cause Rome to become the spiritual center of the world. Everything in Revelation concerning the "false-prophet" (Holy Roman Catholicism which even now its "spiritual leader claims to be the "Vicar" of Christ on the earth) very definitely points to Rome and the "whore which sits on the beast, and is adorned with red and scarlet" (the Official colors of Vatican City, by the way) as the final Apostacy all energized by this mysterious "Anti-Christ" whom I personally believe to be the next "Black Pope"

Actually, it's not a specific person as much as it's an attitude. Liberalism, Islam, Jehovah Ws, Mormons, Hindus, and any other religion or philosophy that promotes righteousness with God apart from Christ or humanism or anything that does not acknowledge the Lordship of Christ is anti-Christ. It's not just against Christ, it's over and against Christ. Like promoting an alternative religious world view. The book of Revelation is a book of symbols, even the numbers listed in the book are symbolic not literal.

The Bible does not give us this information. He may know, but it is also a very possible scenario that he doesn't and actually believes himself to be doing God's work all the while leading the people who follow him down the wrong path.
One thing the Bible does tell us is that the people following him won't know.
They will fanatically claim they are following the true path. They will sound exactly like devout fundamentalists convinced that they are following the truth.

i believe that he will be human just like us at first, and a worshiper of satan, and since he will be doing satan's work, i feel that satan will train him in the ways that he wants him to be. i'm sure he will promise the world to him if he just gives himself up to him. and all that power will be so tempting that he will do as he's told. he will rise to power so quickly that he will truly believe that his decision was the right one, and he will have himself a false prophet , spreading the word of satan for him, decieving people. and when the time is right, satan will move right on in to his body and take over the entire world. scarey thought.

It is not a stupid question, not at all. In fact it's a very good one. I'm thinking of scripture and I'm not sure that this man will know he is the agent of satan until satan himself indwells him.
