Nope. The mormons should turn back to true faith in God. They need to re-read the bible and never read from their book again. The god of the Bible, Jews, and Christians is a jealous and vengeful God. All they need to do is ask Christ to forgive them and they will be returned to Him who redeemed them.

Cow Patty, Shmick_chicky- you both need therapy for your underwear fetish. It's not healthy.
Bobby B- Uh, dunno where you got your info-
First, we've never held the trinitarian view. Joseph originally said that two Personages, the Father and the Son, appeared to him. He never changed his story. What others may have said about it is between them and God, but Joseph never changed HIS story.
Second, I'd like to know where our doctrine says that God the Father "did it" with Mary. I've never heard that taught by the Brethren or read it in the Book of Mormon, or the Bible, for that matter. It's always been stated that she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Pugwash- Maybe your name should be hogwash, cuz that's what your answer is- yes, we teach the kingdom, and yes, women ARE involved... if not, then what was I doing in Wisconsin for 18 months?? I sure wasn't sitting on my thumbs! Just maybe God wants a more refined force teaching His gospel than a bunch of part-timers....
Now to the actual question that was posted.....
Why does Christianity need to be saved? No Mormons have dropped the doctrine of the trinity- we never had or taught it in the first place.

I don't think the Mormons ever held a trinitarian doctrine--They believe in the "Godhead" and always have. So they couldn't have dropped it. As far as them "saving Christianity" goes, people are saved one person at a time through faith and the Grace of Jesus Christ, not by a certain sect or denomination. There is no denomination that "saves".
And a note to the J.W person below: Mormons have sister missionaries and older couple missionaries as well as young men.

The trinity is not a false doctrine. It is seen from Genesis all the way through Revelation. Mormon's dropped the idea of the trinity for the idea of multiple Gods- not just the Father, SOn and Holy Spirit- but Joe, Bob, Fred and any other person who lives as an ideal Mormon is believed to be able to be a God in Mormonism. How does that compare to Christianity?

OK, I think I have your cornfusing statement sorted out.
You are saying that, because Mormons do not believe in the Trinity, they are going to save Christianity?
We don't believe in The Trinity, as other Christians do. That's all I know.

We never dropped the trinity doctrine. We never had it in the first place.
As far as people commenting on my underwear. Please stop. It's my underwear and apparently people really have an obsession with underwear.
No where in the book of Mormon does it say that God had sex with Mary. We don't believe that, never have, never will. Sorry to tell you.

It is a good thing that they HAVE given up the Trinity doctrine. However, they are only partly obeying Matthew 28; 19,20
They do not preach/teach about the Kingdom [ Matrthew 6; 9,10
And their womenfolk are not involved. They should be.
(Psalm 68:11) Jehovah himself gives the saying; The women telling the good news are a large army.
Two young men is just not enough.
On the other hand, J.W's DO comply.
Everyone preaches/teaches
They preach the Kingdom
They fully respect their fellowman...do not get into any situation where they have to 'police' their neighbour,,,police, security, armed forces.
And are honest.
Have you ever worried about a visiting J.W. stealing your plants or the toys the kids left outside.'
And they certainly comply with;
(John 15:17-18) “These things I command YOU, that YOU love one another. 18 If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU.

I'm more concerned about who will save the rest of the world from Christians (and Muslims).

This question wasn't nice.
Christianity as a whole is great! There are a few whiners out there -- other than that, people who believe in Christ have great traditions.
This question is trying to be bait for hate.
