Unless you are a permanent resident you will not get any decent job in Australia. But if you are on a working holiday visa from the UK you might get the job of a dishwaher.

If you qualify under the rules, anyone can get jobs in Australia - but qualifying is not easy. Check the Department of Immigration and Citizenship web site at http://www.immi.gov.au You will find the rules and conditions there.
