if many of your loved ones would not be there? For example, if one spouse is a "believer" and one isn't. They are married 50 years, raise kids and grandkids together...but after one dies, they'll never see each other again. The best hope would be that the believer would forget their beloved spouse ever existed (since to remember would be painful).

How could this state be called "heaven"?

(I think we cheapen whatever might exist after this life by forcing it to fit into the mold of our tiny little minds and viewing through the filter of our lives here on earth.)

Wow, wpgcyan, why would I ever want to spend eternity somewhere apart from loving and accepting people like you?

Well said.
In the end no one has any idea what is waiting for us on the other side.

It doesn't....exist as most ppl think, of it.
Heaven is not a spiritual realm where r loved 1's go @ death.
Some ppl do go to heaven,
to live as Kings & priests ruling along side Jesus.
Not all.
We go to our grave, awaiting a Glorious Resurrection.
Jesus was resurrected.
Lazarus was resurrected.
The widow's son from Nain was resurrected.
The Army Officer's daughter was resurrected.
And a few more.
Don't be surprised when all those in their memorial tombs hear his voice and come out.
Even the sea will give up its dead.

We have the glorious hope of seeing & being
w/ ur loved 1's again, after the Resurrection.

Why would we need (or want) a Resurrection;
if we were already alive in heaven?

Actually the Bible doesn't say that all good people go to heaven. It says that they will be resurrected to eternal and perfect life on earth as it was originally intended. The concept of heaven as most religions teach it, is completly inaccurate.

i do no longer think Hell as this fiery place for punishment. you come across it in video clips and cartoons. undecided approximately heaven nevertheless. i like that music that asserts, "absolutely everyone desires to bypass to heaven, yet no longer acceptable now". once you die and bypass to heaven, what could you do there? under no circumstances stumbled on any element on that. the only answer i'm getting is "serve God". ummmm.... ok, are not we meant to try this here? i do no longer understand what to have faith. yet I do have faith in spirits and ghosts.

There are many reasons why the "Christians-only" version of a heaven don't work, not the least of which are specific sects that think that other Christians won't even be there.

If you have faith in who God is and what He is like you know heaven will be wonderful. It makes me wonder why people choose not to go to heaven.

The only tolerable way to spend eternity would be complete oblivion.
