People as a whole are better off talking to others that they dont know over the internet. This is because you have nothing to hold you back from your objective/what you want to say and you know there will be no repercussions on the way you are seen. Also, the amount of people on the web makes it the ideal source for information as practically everyone at the present is online, thus giving you a far higher "strike rate" in finding what you seek.

Talking to anyone about problems helps you verbalize them and gives you a different perspective that your trouble was not as earthshaking as you thought. Once you realize that it is not as big, you also realize there are ways to handle it. This effect is one of the greatest benefits to communication. You don't want to clam up and keep things inside you. If you do, only YOU pay the price. The only way that this good is if you're a masochist. That being the case, you have other, more complex problems.

This is a great experience. The benefits are awesome. People became more guarded and closed as I aged, but this is making up for that - BIG TIME!

i have been chatting on the net for years.... and alot of people have helped me sooo much. some good friends... helped me come to a place where i was able to reach out in real life for help... if it wasnt for those friends... i could be dead now... or i a really bad and dark place....
