I exercised for 45 minutes today, just like everyday, burning around 300-400 calories.
Breakfast: Medium sized carrot muffin - 280 calories
Glass of grape fruit - 40 calories
Lunch/Snack: 7 crackers - 90 calories
Cucumbers, plum, and carrots
Apple juice - 90 calories
(I'm at school so I don't have alot of time to eat, 15 minutes at most)
Dinner:
2 whole wheat wraps (90 calories each) with extra lean, ground beef
I know that I am suppost to have snacks within the day, but I can't because I'm at school.

I'm not particularly healthy, so I'm not sure how much you should listen to me - but given that you're at school, I think you should be eating a bit more than that.
In particular, you should be having more protein. Try to have an egg for breakfast (egg white omelette if you're determined to go the ultra healthy route).
I'm not so sure crackers are a good choice for lunch - it's not that they're 'bad' for you ... but they're not really good for you either. They're wasted calories. Get some lettuce in.
The extra lean ground beef is good, but you need more iron still. Spinach, broccoli, silverbeet - lots of different ways to get green vegetables.
It's all about balance, hon.
Good luck.
P.S. If you want snacks at school, I'd suggest making yourself a tub of scroggin - stuff like nuts, seeds, chocolate chips...all mixed up. A small handful every so often throughout the day will keep your energy up.

A healthier option than a muffin would be an egg (70 cals), a grapefruit, non-fat yogurt (150 cals), and a piece of whole wheat toast (100 cals). Muffins pack a lot of fat, and try to eat real fruit instead of juice for the fiber content.
You really should eat more healthy snacks or more food for lunch. You need more protein in your diet. Protein will keep you fuller longer and you will retain energy better. Try packing a natural peanut-butter (like Adams which doesn't have any sugar) and all-fruit jam sandwich. Make it the night before and keep it in the fridge.
The whole wheat wraps are good, but consider chicken or ground turkey instead of ground beef. Of course the occasional red meat isn't going to hurt!

Breakfast: One muffin is not enough to get you going. Try: Free Range eggs w/ salsa & fruit, or plain oatmeal with fresh fruit.
For your lunch/snack, try adding some protein, like a chicken breast, or a turkey wrap, or some raw, unsalted nuts (almonds are a very healthy choice). Raw unsalted nuts make a great snack as well; they are easy to take on the go, and they help keep you full!
For your dinner, substitute the ground beef with some lean ground turkey, and add a salad with a lot of veggies.
Try to mix up your diet a bit! Also, try to ADD more food to your diet! You are not eating enough! To be healthy, you must properly fuel your body! Oh, very important: Drink water all day long!
Best wishes to you :)

I would suggest eating more. Today you ate a total of 680 calories and then burned 300. I don't know how much you weigh, but a good way to find out the minimum number of calories you need is to add a zero to the end of your weight.
ie. I weigh 120, so the minimum amount of calories I need per day is 1200
Just put nuts or granola bars (something with healthy fat) and eat that on the way to classes.

1st of all, it doesn't look like you got enough calories for the day (shoot for 2,000). From what I added up you only had nearly 800 not to mention you say you burned 300 calories. If you don't get your 2,000 calories a day, you body will hold on to the fat your body has and in the long run, this can become VERY unhealthy.
2nd, one carrot muffin that has 280 calories is A LOT for one small item. You need to make better choices. Yogurt, cereal with skim or low-fat milk, oatmeal, eggs and toast are good choices to have. Morning is very important meal because it gives you energy and helps you do better in school. You really need something that does not have a lot of sugar or fat. I can bet that muffin has WAY to many grams of sugar.
3rd your lunch choice was horrible. Its great that you are eating fruits and vegetables, but 7 CRACKERS?! Are you anorexic? You really need to eat something with more to it. Just becasue your at school does not give you an excuse for eating poorly. You can bring in your own food or snacks (I used to when I was in high school) Eat a granola bar in between classes. You really need the nutrients to keep you energyized. You really need to eat some kind of protein item with fat and calories. Many people think that fat and calories are bad, WE NEED THEM TO SURVIVE!!! Don't cut them out just because you don't want to gain weight. Try a ham sandwich with cheese or even a tomato. Eating wheat bread is very good for digestion and keep our body healthy.
4th, as for dinner, I actually thought this choice was not a bad one but was it only beef and a wrap? Thats not very nutritious. Try having lettice, tomatoes or even salso with it. Not only will it give it more flavor, but it will be better for you.
I hope I didn't seam to harsh but you really need to have better eating choices. As young as you are, its very importatnt to get the recommended amounts of each food group. Go to www.mypyramid.com and they have great recommendations for how to loose weight or maintain according to your weight, height and activity level.

Those are healthy choices, but you aren't getting enough to eat throughout the day, and definitely not in the evening. You are probably doing more harm than good with counting your calories so stringently and by not fueling your body with more food. I understand the difficulty with getting time to eat during school, but I strongly suggest you try to get your caloric intake around 1800 a day, while still making the healthy food choices you are already eating. If your body doesn't get enough to sustain itself it will store as much fat as it can and make you tired more often, and have less productive workouts. You seem very conscious of your food, which is good, just try to incorporate more meals and snacks throughout the day.

I think it would be more healthy if you did it without the meat. I mean replace the beef with tuna or salmon. Both are high in protein and much better for you and the enviroment. You should take a bag of little carots to snack at school. You can actually make your metabolism be faster by eating a little bit every little while.

That's less than 600 calories, after burning over 300. Your body will start to hoard fat if you don't intake enough calories. Which will make it harder for you to lose weight. And because you are burning 300 - 400 calories a day, your metabolism should be high, allowing you to eat MORE calories without gaining weight.

substitute ground beef for ground turkey, MAKE SURE IT'S WHITE MEAT. If it's dark meat, your defeating the purpose. And drink tons of water, more important then anything. Also i would recommend some kind of vitamin and calcium tablet that would compensate lack of nutrients in your diet. Hope it helps! stay strong and don't fall off the bandwagon for reasons you'll regret later. OH and don't listen to Erin S, I weigh 350, so does that mean i need to take in at least 3500 calories? Heck no.
