if it's your underarms that are the problem, they have some very strong and well working clinical strength anti-perspirants out. even better would be to get a prescription from your doctor for this. it's the strongest and best working that you'll find.

I had a huge problem with sweating when I was younger. I TRIED EVERYTHING.
The only thing that workd for me is a product called "Drysol" which is a super strong deodorant. They sell it behind the counter in most pharmacies. There is a stick or a liquid version. "Drysol" is certainly not the best choice healthwise. It contains alot of aluminium. I was a teenager and totally desperate because I had been afflicted with the condition for years.
I bought the product, put it on at night before I went to bed. It was super itchy. When I woke up in the morning I showered it off... I had a huge rash. The only thing that nade it worthwhile was that my sweating was gone. Completely. I used it about once a week for about 2 months. Finally it was once a month, then once every 3 months and then 6... Now I don't need it at all. I still wish that I had found out about it sooner.
Use Drysol... but only if you're desperate...

You can't really help it: that's just how your body personally works. But you can make it easier for yourself. Find a good, strong deodorant that works for you. Take regular showers. If you're a girl, carry some extra make-up around to apply throughout the day. If you're a guy, bring some paper towels or a hankerchief to blot away the sweat. Good luck.

Exercise in the earlier or later hours of the day when it's cooler. Wear very light clothing. Lose ten to 20 pounds if your BMI is over 30. If the condition is medical, i.e. hyperhydrosis syndrome and its mostly your hands you can have periodic temporary solution of botox to your arm pits (yes BOTOX) or a permanent surgical intervention call a sympathetamy which is a short but major surgery.
Good Luck!

You can get Botox on your palms, the bottom of your feet and under your arms to prevent sweating. Talk to your dermatologist today. Otherwise, get a good antiperspirant and try to stay in an air conditioned environment.

Yes, if you are over weight it could be the problem. If you do drugs such as any stimulants, even coffee, could do that also. As for over weightiness, your weight contributes because your body is working harder to meet your energy demands. Also, it can be nervousness or stress.
Stay away from garlic, cause if you sweat alot , boy oh boy, talk about odor.
