I dont like the guy, and I think that he needs to go back to open wheel racing and F1, or wherever he came from. I agree with Kevin Harvick and it seems that he is taking out someone each and every week and ruining someones chances of winning every week because he doesnt know how to drive the cars and is doing a very poor job at it. I also think that he has to much of a temper problem like Stewart does that gets him in trouble. I just think that all would be better if he went back to F1 because more and more open wheel drivers are coming over to NASCAR and are going to send home the good drivers that are American and this is an American based sport that was started in the South, and then it will start to go international, which I dont have a problem with but there are so many tracks here in the US that arent being used that have had great racing in the past and the schedule is already demanding for the drivers, crew, and their families, so its just going to become an even bigger problem.

He is cocky and arrogant and needs to learn respect and patience. He wrecks everyone around him and usually takes himself out of the race as well. Then again he obviously is the best driver out there. I mean he has 4 top 10's including 1 win this year. Imagine how godlike he will be next year. Maybe he will have 8 top 10's and ask for a commemorative statue in tribute to his godly driving talents.

He always makes me thinks of The Princess Bride! "Hello, my name is Juan Pablo Montoya... Prepair to die!" or "I am looking for the six fingered man that kill my father" ha, brings a smile to my face everytime!

He needs to go back and race his way up to the Nextel Cup. I don't believe that he was really ready to be where he is today. Like everyone else says he shows no respect to any of the drivers, and talks to much and puts everyone in the wall. So far all he has made is enemies. I really don't expect him to last very long!

I don't think the guidelines would like my answer, so I'll clean it up a whole lot. He need's knocked down a few rungs of his ladder. Gives it out, but can,t take it. How does he get his head in the helmet?? His ego is so big, but I have no idea why. He grabbed Harvick first but was the first to point fingers. He needs to go back to Columbia. He's a jerk!!!

I think he is an excellent driver. You don't get a ride in Formula 1 unless you are among the elite of the elite. I think that the criticism of his driving style stems almost exclusively from the fact that he is a foreigner. Yes, he has been somewhat reckless, but no more so than Kurt Busch or the hypocrite Kevin Hav-a -wreck were in their rookie seasons.

I posted a question on here after the incident at Watkins Glen asking if there wasn't some unspoken racism amongst a portion of NASCAR fans that fed their hatred of JPM. I then had the audacity to suggest that Dale Sr. drove in much the same way, yet he is hailed as a hero.

The result? I got reported for questioning the legacy of #3.

I can't wait, and I mean CAN'T WAIT, until a black driver joins the circuit and starts winning. Actually, over in F1 Lewis Hamilton (who currently leads the season) might be out of a job because of the McLaren spy scandal. I wonder if anybody would have the guts to offer him a ride in the Nextel Cup. That would be awesome.

I think he has talent. He's certainly outpaced many other rookie drivers. His attitude needs a lot of work, but perhaps a few 20th in the Standings finishes will cure that.
I am disturbed by this talking about going back to where he came from. If we all did that, there'd be few people left.
I love NASCAR and generally like most NASCAR fans- but I think this jingoism is stupid!

My thoughts on JPM are:
He needs to respect the veteran drivers. He is a rookie.
He is too aggressive.
He is a foreigner who does not speak english that well. Im not racist but I like my American sport to stay American.
And he needs to stop wrecking people the way he does.

He is mired in 20th place about where he belongs. He is a first rate driver but expects the series to change to his style so he can win. A real racer would change his/her style to win in the series they race.

He is alittle more agressive that most people like, he is a rookie in nextel cup, hopefully next yr he will have learned from some of his many mistakes this yr.. He has determination and fire in his eyes..he wants to win. He'll be just fine. I liked him in open wheel, he just needs to be alittle more patience.. One thing for sure he sure is a cute latino.
