If you go with traditional tribal religions you will have a rich choice. Choose whatever continent you are interested in, select an area, then a tribe. Then research their religion.
You could go for native american religion (e.g. Hopi) or for australian aborinigal, there are plenty of tribal african religions (e.g. Yoruba), or indopacific religions.

I like ancient Egyptian mythology and Aztec mythology...but I'm not sure what 'religion' those would be called. Wicca is also pretty interesting, if you're thinking of something more modern.

You could do one of the reconstructed religions, like Asatru (Norse) or Kemetic Reconstructionism (Egyptian). Those are interesting.
