I only know of the Jehovah's Witnesses. I know the Pentecostal's believe before Jesus battles the devils and the human devils that the righteous ones will be raptured from this earth. Then have their everlasting life in heaven. The Pentecostal's believe paradise is in heaven and not on earth. The Catholic's believe that once you are dead, you meet your judgment day. From there you are either judged to hell, purgatory, or heaven. The Catholic's also believe the dead become's spirits (angels) that will watch over them (meaning their loved ones), that they can even talk to them in a conversation. I don't know about the rest of the other relgion's. So far only the J's W's do that preaching of restoring paradise on earth.

Jesus HAS been appointed King over Almighty God's new system. He will be ruling from heaven.
He will not again be on the earth in the flesh.
Jesus always did what his father willed, so God's rules are also Jesus' rules. His subjects will abide by them. They will be on the earth, the survivors of Armageddon. And the resurrected ones who agree to comply with these rules.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
(Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].
Always keep in mind that during that thousand years when people grow towards perfection...that at the end of it, satan will be released from the 'abyss' and let loose again as a final test.
(Revelation 20:3) And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while.

As far as I know this 1,000 years is not part of the Jehovah's witness "doctrine" of the future. There are some religions which pick and choose what is reality and what is not.
However, this belief is part of my own doctrine. In the Holy Bible, you cannot "rule out" anything already written, as the witnesses choose to do.
There will be paradise on a new earth, and a new heaven, as promised in The Book of The Lamb.

Don't know but it sounds like the 'Left Behind' books, and it's not just JWs but a major section of the USA's population that's been buying those. I believe it is part of 'dispensationalist' Christianity, although that is not a church in itself.

somewhere in the Bible, it says that 144,000 will enter Heaven, the rest will reside in the new earth.....................
Jahova's Wittnesses believe we are in the last days(or 1000 year reign) now, and have been since 1914 or 1913.

I'm sure happy that we as Jehovah's Witnesses have the truth.
Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Most Christian denominations teach that, although unlike the JW they don't teach taking the mark of the beast.
