I can just see your pastor now.
Stunned and ashamed because he could not prove us wrong.
As a result, all your congregation leaves and become atheists.

THINK about what you just wrote.

Maybe that will give you some of a feel for how atheists, Muslims, Hindus, and all other religious-group adherents have NO appreciation for efforts on the part of obnoxious "Christians" who engage in overt proselytism.

Fellow Christians, if you're going to spread the gospel, please do it **passively**/properly. Leave tracts lying around, where people can either take or leave them. Obnoxious proselytizers HARM Christianity, and build up resentment against it among non-Christians.

It might take him a while to look up the references, but the pastor could then show the atheists the name of Jesus of Nazareth, an itinerant preacher, in the Roman records. Those guys kept records of EVERYBODY, and His name was found years ago. I can just see the atheists now, stunned and ashamed that their narrow little minds didn't see that one coming. As a result, they all decide to read more history and do less Christian bashing.

My pastor would feel that someone should call the police, since - at least here in Canada - it is a criminal offense to disrupt a religious service.

Not to worry, though, since there is no such scientific "proof." Very few historians of any repute would lend their names to outlandish pop-religion theories that the itinerant first century Judaean preacher Yeshua Bar Yusef did not actually exist historically.

Funny- you think it would take 10 atheists to prove one Christian wrong. Does that mean one Christian has the intellectual power of 10 atheists?

Many atheists have set out to prove Christianity wrong. As a result, many atheists have come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Read Lee Strobels book "The Case for Christ". He was an atheist journalist who tried to prove scientifically that Christianity was false. After confronting the evidence he got saved and has led many people to Christ.

Probably the same as scientists would feel if 10 "fundamentalists" showed up at a scientific conference on evolution and disrupted things.

There are forums for debate and discussion that would be much more profitable than to just cause chaos and disruption.

i individually don't comprehend why she demands it except she is afraid and that's a protection element, meaning she fairly does not have confidence that God is all effective and backs her ministry. so a techniques as i can study in scripture, women can carry forth, unfold the Gospel yet can't usurp authority over a guy so she could no longer be the top "pastor" of a church in accordance to scripture.

I would love to see Ten atheists in church!!! Wow, that would be something. I can just see them now down on their knees accepting Jesus Christ as there Lord and Saviour, Praise the Lord, what a great day it would be, The Heavenly Angels would probably take off in a chorus of Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now I'm found was blind but now I see. Great question! If you would like to know how to be saved you don;t have to be in a church to do it, Just say this simple prayer believing in Jesus, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am a sinner in need of salvation, I believe you died on a cross and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this prayer believing in the name of Jesus, Amen. Praise the Lord, Now find a good Church and start reading your Bible, its Gods Word, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me, God Bless you in Jesus's name Amen

In my church an atheist would get stumped.Been there, done that. Why does it take ten?Better hope archeology takes a nose dive in popularity. As long as they keep digging, they'll keep finding proof of his earthly ministry.Nobody questions whether Peter actually lived. He was one of the apostles that coward down after Jesus was crucified. What on earth could that man have seen that turned him from coward to martyr?
Would you willingly die for a lie?I wouldn't.Not without a fight anyway.Peter saw something that changed his life forever. Are you willing to take that step?It would be glorious if you were.

You'd be fresh meat for my pastor, this old boy has been
around the block a few times before his conversion and
would thrive on dunking you and hearing the Halleluya
Amens that you wooped up with.

The pastor would be confident. He is not worried at all as there is no proof that Jesus was a myth.
