I am babysitting children in my home and I have a lady who I interviewed to help me but she is complaining that I'm not paying enough for the distance that she drives

well if she is already complaining then the out look is not to good better to get rid of her now before it gets so complicated

i probably wouldn't do it unless i really needed the money. anyhow, it's up to you how much you want to pay her; if you really need her and like her, then raise her salary, if not, then say goodbye, she will no doubt continue to be unpleasant about it and it's really not your problem.
