Right click your picture and select Open with>Microsoft Office Picture Manager. When it's open, click Edit Picure>Resize then select the option that you want. After resizing the pic, click Save As. You can now insert the picture. Ü

Try resizing the image before importing it into Word Perfect.
Open Adobe (Elements... I hope) in the photo editing mode and click the Image menu. Then choose Image size.
Keep width & height locked together, but drop the numbers down to something much smaller.
DON"T OVERWRITE YOUR ORIGINAL IMAGE!
Click File> Save As and rename the file to indicate that it is the smaller image. Example: "party.jpg" might become "party_small.jpg"

The image's resolution is probably too large. Try resizing your image first using a graphic-editing program, with all sides less than 27 inches.

Instead of downloading immediately into a program, why not put images into My Pictures folder so you can view them with windows photo and fax viewer and then, depending on what you want to do with them, use right button of mouse to open in whatever programme you want. Or, if you do right button on image down to properties and click on advanced button, you can compress image.

if ur using word perfect or whatever, see that your pixel size of the photo u wanna insert...coz too big size .jpg files cannot be inserted.
solution: just decrease your photo size using Photoshop or Irfan view...or any editng sofware...then insert it..it will work...
make it to say ,,,100kb
