I am against putting harmful smoke in anyones lungs.
But if there is medical use of marijuana in pill form, I don't have a problem with that.

I feel the same way I do about smoking weed in general. Just as Scriptures tell us that a little wine at night is good for the stomach, such is the same with weed.
Anything used in excess will become a problem for you - whether its that little bit of wine turning into a gallon of it, or if its eating too much, or if you buy an ounce of weed instead of baby diapers and formula, get it? All things in common sense.
As far as medical uses for weed, its wonderful. Glaucoma is a horrible disease and you should see how much weed brings down the inflammation all around a persons face - they suffer terribly with headaches
and sinus problems from the swelling, you know. If they can get relief from it, how dare anyone try to keep it from them.
Thats dispicable, esspecially when they go
ahead and allow alcohol to be legal and people are just getting trashed on it for the sake of getting trashed - to then deny someone help with pain and swelling is absolutely unbelievable; marijuana should
be legal ANYWAY.

Non-Christian answering here. I always click the "Christians only" questions.
Marijuana use, when prescribed by a doctor, is fine. The use of intoxicants of any kind, , is fine.
Valium and morphine are two drugs that can become addictive, and a person not experiencing pain should never take them. However, if a person is in so much pain, then it is legitimate for a doctor to prescribe such a drug to his/her patient.
Same principle goes for marijuana.

I know a man who has just died from cancer.
He spent months in horrible pain that the doctors could not help him properly with, unless he was so drugged out he was sleeping all the time.
His son convinced him to give weed a try.
His pain according to him was cut by 3/4.
His mood was elevated and the deppresion gone.
He found peace with his situation.
And died a content man.
Who on the face of this earth has a right to take that option away from people?

I'm a Christian, but can't imagine WHY you'd be asking that question specifically of Christians -- since it has NOTHING to do with Christianity. Many plants have many medicinal uses, including marijuana. So -- NO problem!

I am 100% for it; I was a rehab. studies major in college and we had someone come in and talk to us who is one of the few people left that is able to get marijuana from the government. He has a book out and says that it has helped him live better and keep his medical problems away. It works and there is proof but our government is too closed minded to think that naturally grown plant on this earth could do more good than harm.

i really dont see the problem with it... i think the problem with weed is the governemnt... for some reason, they have painted it out to be this horrible thing, but alcohol, which is actually a poison in the body, is fine... eventho, daily there are thousands who die from alcohol related cases.. i dont think iv ever heard of anyone over dosing or goin into violent rages, or anything like that.... if you want to use it responsibly, i have no problem.... the BIBLE says, it is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out.. so, if you smoke weed and it casues you to become beligerent and stuff, then ya, its a sin... but, i dont see a lot of ppl get that way from smoking.. the government is what has gotten it such a bad rap.

I support it. I feel that all pants in themselves are good. I would support the legalization of marijuana. If that were to happen it would unclog the jails, save the american people billions of dollars being wasted in the jail system, and if taxed it could creat billions of dollars and of course people who wanted to use marijuana could use it.

The same way I feel about using morphine for medical use. Using any kind of substance to catch a "buzz" is not cool, but if there is any medical benefit, than who are we to judge?

This is just MY opinion...... I think God put EVERY plant and animal and human on this planet for a certain purpose, we do not always KNOW what that is, but, I think sense it is put here by God, people may have found now the true reason it is..... It is to HELP those who need it medically..... sounds weird even to me, but that is what I think....... go in peace...... God bless
