For those of you who might say never:
I believe if you had 2 guys on their own, the guy who is willing to get into a fight about anything has total power over another guy who is willing to avoid a fight for anything, regardless of size strength etc... So i wouldnt say never
I believe a real man should never start a fight, and only get into one if he thinks he can take the other person. Or if he is protecting someone else.

Personally, I would really never want to start a fight unless I felt that I had to or if someone offended me/my girlfriend and really just stepped over the line. I am about 5'9 and 155 lbs, 20 years old. I am definately NOT the biggest guy out there, but if someone threatened my girlfriend or truly insulted her in front of me or otherwise, I would fight him until I couldn't get up anymore, even if he was 200 lbs PURE muscle.

A Real Man fights to protect his mom, his girl, sister, family, etc. A Real Man also fights in his own self- defense. A real man does not unnecessarily provoke a fight nor does he fight over bullsh*t like someone "looking at him funny", bumping him, or stepping on his shoes.

Fighting doesn't prove anything. Resolving the problem without violence is what a "real man" should strive for.

It doesn't matter, you can hardly punch anybody these days without being charged with assault. Fighting isn't worth it anyway unless you have no other alternative.
