I have seen Golden Tiger 7.62x39 for between 160-180 per thousand without shipping added yet. that seems to be the going price. I have links below, but copesdist.com has it for 159.99 and then actual shipping charges. They are out of Ohio, so if you are east of the mississippi this is a good choice, shipping gets horrible on ammo when you cross the misssissippi.
Copes also has surplus 30.06 M2 ball from Greece that is good. It is Pyrkal made with head stamp "HXP". Real M2 loading, brass, non-corrosive, reloadable casings and in bandoliers with garand clips. You could by a can of 192 rounds for $69.99. By the way, if you don't need the Garand en-bloc clips, you can usually get a dollar for each one and there is 24 in one can. This ammo ranges in date from late 60's to late 80's. In terms of quality its very much like American Lake City surplus (LC head stamp).
If you are west of the mississippi, your best bet may be jgsales.com they are out of Arizona and shipping charges are less for western customers.

i've got been identifying to purchase for .30-30 ammo and the conventional value i chanced on replaced into $23 for a container for 20 rounds. The low replaced into $20 and the intense replaced into $26. And the kicker replaced into that the entire furnish of searching .30-30 ammo replaced into approximately 20 boxes entire for a whole city of roughly a million human beings (I checked each and every of the gun shops). this is purely for sometime, yet you get the image. this is what i replaced into informed. the dep.. of native land risk-free practices has decreased in length to purchase somewhat a lot of ammo that has taken up a huge quantity of the the industry's production potential and has carry approximately shortages. This style does not make experience because of the fact the quantity being offered comes out to a minimum of something like 50,000 cartridges for each federal agent. Sounds slightly tin foil to me, yet who the heck is universal with at present. what is going to make ammo expenditures drop? we choose a bigger furnish. How can we get a bigger furnish? i do no longer understand. i do no longer think of its panic identifying to purchase. maximum persons hoarders have stocked up by ability of now.

Ammoman.com has free shipping which really does save when you consider shipping prices for ammo, which tends to be heavy when you buy 1000 rounds.

If you have a buddy with a FFL you can go to J&G Rifle Ranch in Arizona or Southern Ohio Gun and get some real good wholesale prices. I buy my brass from Black Hills Shooting Sports and they also have good prices.
