We once had a hamster in the wall under our sink. We tore up walls etc to try to find him. He amazingly appeared when he smelled freshly popped popcorn. He just appeared out of nowhere. Good luck. I hope you get him/her out safely.

Use a wastebasket that won't tip over. Next to it, place a pile of books like steps leading up to the basket. Make a line of hamster food from the place under the sink, along the wall, out from the wall a bit, up the pile of books and a little pile in the wastebasket. Make sure to put a bit of fluff or a few washcloths in the bottom of the basket to break the fall. Wait 'til night and he will magically appear in the basket in the morning. It might take a few nights. Tip: Remember hamsters usually hug walls.

positioned somewhat path of seeds from the hollow to the middle of the floor. No seeds? Drag a handle (piece of fruit, cracker, etc.) from the outlet interior the hollow to the middle of the floor (to pass away a scent path to stick to. i know how devastating that's to lose a hamster this form, as I did while i substitute into little (and it got here about interior the kitchen too. *shifty eyes* besides, you're able to additionally by a humane field mouse or rat seize on the puppy shop and positioned some nutrients and water in it for the hamster to pass to. the launch her into the wilds of the cage. do no longer puppy her till she seems desperate for a hug, she would be fairly under pressure by her adventure.

Do you mean he is in the cabinet under the sink, or did he get himself into the floor or wall?

Could you lure him out with a trail of his favorite treats? My hamster will go anywhere for fresh broccoli...

If he got himself in there im sure he can get himself out when he gets hungury (unless he fell down the plug hole) so I would suggest putting some food in a bucket, put a ladder (or something he can climb easily) leading up the outside of the bucket and when he falls in the bucket he can't get back out. ps: put something soft on the bottom of the bucket so he doesnt hurt himself but just make sure he can't manuevure it in such a way that he can use it to get back out again.
!!!GOOD LUCK!!!

its an emergency....turn off the water and rip it out of the socket, not the hamster, the sink....otherwise you will have 1 dead hamster.

Lure him out. Put some treats in a jar next to where he is. When he goes into the jar, put your hand over the top and put him back in his cage.
