This is what he claims to be the word of god:

So Gods solution to war is using WMD to kill hundreds of thousand innocent civilians(enemy) according to Franklin. God also creates Hurricanes to destroy wicked cities and have them be rebuilt(reborn again?) according to him.(Is wicked NYC next?San Fran?
This doesn't sound like God's word. Sounds satanic to me...

gatita, I do not agree with you. After reading your answer I wonder that since you hold the same thoughts as Franklin Graham, maybe you too are confused with the difference between god and satan. I don't know how anyone could agree with these quotes and find JUSTIFICATION for them as you have done. You and Franklin should wake up and follow the TRUE god....and stop justifying hate, violence etc....by doing this, you are befriending satan

sugarlips, I don' understand that passage. One part is saying to turn their swords into something while th enext is saying something about crushing something else. I don't get it.
And if this is justification for franklin's comments, well I believe people who find ways to justify hate and violence are going to hell.....

Night Owl, great answer. I think people put themselves and others in great danger when they take the bible literally and start twisting the words to justify there actions. I still have a hard time believing god would want franklin graham to use WMD...so evil, so wicked.

The God of Islam IS the same God...the God of Abraham. I don't think Mr. Graham has done his research. I don't know what in the Quran that Mr. Graham would find so evil and wicked; if he has a Bible handy to compare it to, any atrocity should be able to be matched pretty much one for one.
New Orleans wicked city? It may be known for ALL those things...but remember, it's attended by more Christians than all other religions COMBINED. This is a very old celebration brought from Europe. If it offends, then don't attend. Did God strike it down? Hard to tell. Seems odd to me that all during WWII, God had the opportunity to strike Hitler down...but he chose to spare Hitler any weather or natural disasters in lieu of sending a hurricane to New Orleans.
I am always amazed....the 6th commandment should tell Mr. Graham what his FIRST duty to keep God's will concerning men on earth. What is this man thinking? He must not be thinking.
Lastly, yes...these are God's solutions, if the Bible is to be believed. Read the old Testament. Read Exodus...God kills indescriminently to get his way...even the innocent mean nothing to the God of the old testament. God even directs his followers to cut the unborn children from the womb of the enemy.
If you buy into that way of thinking...then I imagine you would never flinch at using WMD if you thought that's what God wanted. Probably a really good reason to keep as much seperation between church and state as you possibly can.
