I asked my lady friend out and she said she would love to go out with me! But first she said she doesn't want to lead me on because she is also interested in two other guys that she is interested in and has been dates with them both in the past. She said she would love to date me as long as it doesn't bug me that she dates or hangs with the other guys. We are great friends by the way. At least she was honest with me..most girls wouldn't admit that. At least we know where we both stand now..that always makes things better and more simple. She wouldn't feel awkward at all after this would she?But if she said yes, that means she is interested in me too right? Any dating ideas? Were college students by the way.
thank you!

If she's already said she doesn't want to lead you on, believe her....she's saying she enjoys time with you and your friendship, and THAT's ALL.
Unless you want to TRY to compete for a woman who has already told you that she's dating other guys and is interested in THEM, by all means, treat her as a good friend and nothing more.

As for ideas...what kind of stuff do you and she like in common (do you know of anything)? That might be a good starting point. Maybe going to a late movie one night or maybe to a quiet place that has music that you both like.

Sounds to me like she was just being honest with you that she's casually dating. That's better than finding out later on that she's dating others if you thought you were the only one. She wouldn't have accepted a date if she wasn't interested in you. As for dating ideas, just do what you'd normally do.

Never have any expectation while dating in college. Its all about having fun and keeping options open. Some people tend to be clingy dont be that guy. Dont expect anything

I would give her an A for honesty, but I still wouldn't date her. You might get too involved with her and get your head all messed up. Leave this one alone, but you could be good friends with her.
