If you have children that ride their bikes/scooters in the street, would you be interested in buying a mobile alerting system that notifies you and your children of approaching cars?

No! My children were taught NOT to play in the street as was I.

That would depend entirely on how the device works. For safety, yes it would be cool. I would want to make darn sure that it has no medical threat from whatever the thing emits and make sure it does not in any way threaten anyone's right to privacy.

Thats why we have eyes and ears. No reason to pay (probably high amount) for something that works better for free. What do you do, listen for the alarm and run out to the street to warn them?
