I'm still suffering breakouts lately, especially on my chin and neck; the rest of my face is very clear. I eat a wonderful diet (primarily vegetarian), change my pillow case often, don't touch my skin, and use a great product line (which did improve my skin, but hasn't completely cleared me up). I'm at a loss. It's just annoying that I invest so much time, money and energy into keeping my skin nice, and yet it's still not where I want it to be. Any suggestions? I'm planning on sticking to the products I use, but I could add something else in as well. I'm just wondering if there are any things I can do ASAP that will possibly clear up my problem areas. Thank you very much for any responses.

I said my skin is breaking out, which I thought would make it clear that acne is my problem. I've tried aloe vera. I find that it only heals existing pimples, but doesn't actually prevent them.

A lot of vegetarians have this same problem because the are not getting enough protein. Check out your diet and see if you are getting the recommended amount in your diet. Also, since you change your pillowcase often make sure you are using a mild detergent to clean those pillowcases. A harsher detergent will cause you to break out.

One problem: You forgot to say what the problem is. If it is a skin problem, see my answer to : "I got blistered bad even my eyes are! Any home remedies? I also have very sensitive skin!!?" and to "Blister question?". This Aloe Vera cures just about every skin problem I've seen. It's phenomenal! If it's not better by tomorrow, make a dr."s appt. and let me know.

Proactiv is always the best product. Other than that hot compresses and alcohol (drying agent) always worked for me. That and also the sun or a suntan booth. Drying the breakouts was always the answer to me. Good luck.

Why not get tested for allergies? Or start taking an oil supplement....I know this may seem a strange thing to do when oily skin is the cause of spots...but if you were short of anything..like omega 3 it could effect your skin...oh and drink lots of water.

I know you probably don't want to do this, but you could go to your doctor and have them perscribe something for you. They usually have good products.
