I have had my license taken away twice which is extremely aggrivating, considering I don't have a state ID... no bars, no clubs, and I can't even get some grub watching the Bears at a bar with my friends...

The officer asked if I had a bond card, and I just looked at him with a confused look on my face. He responded with "Never mind, you'd know if you did." I asked around and was told if you were a member of the AAA club, that's what he meant... anyone have this and have it happen to them? Need some advice if it's worth the cost of being a member.

Many times. When I was in the military, I drove home (400 miles) each weekend with 4 other friends. If we got stopped (usually for speeding) I used my AAA card to post bond and pay the ticket. I reimbursed AAA when billed.

If you are a member of AAA and have a bond card, your card may be taken in lieu of cash (up to $1000); however, not all police departments will take the AAA bond card.

And, yes, the card can be used to keep one's driver's license.

Yes, the AAA card can be used as bond in traffic cases.

It's worth being a member, it pays for itself the first time your car breaks down and you need a tow.

The Judge will answer all these questions for you. But from I know, you will go to jail, lose your license for 7 years, and have to share a jail cell and toilet with three other inmates, and no privacy. Also you will have strip searches and cavity checks everyday to make sure you aren't hiding any weapons or tools like those girls did who just escaped, and you only shower every 4th day. Also, if another inmate is powerful, they can request you to be their cellmate so when all the lights are out they do whatever they want to you, and invite their friends as well.
