He was showing you that the angels obey his fathers command. It was not about him it was all about God. Jesus was God in the flesh. He had to fulfill the prophesy.Isaiah 53.
He said twelve legions. will in one legion there are as many as 2000-6000 that is a lot of angels.
God has the power to in camp his angels around his anointed. Angels are strong beings. They were not coming to help if they did come it would have been a massacre
Psalm 37.

He called upon those that were (as you say lower in rank and power) servants, the same way He calls upon Christians today to do the work of the Father! There is no difference.
Jesus is the Christ, the Salvation and the only Begotten Son of God. He does as His Father commands, and He does it with all Humility and Obedience, as it should be.

Jesus was not God, but the son of God. He was the most spiritually enlightened man to ever walk the earth. Jesus is our brother and God is our Father.

You missed this in both of your current questions. Please let me give you the answer:
Philippians 2
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But MADE himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
What the English translations tend to lose is a certain word that bars you from really getting what is being said here:
We take the word, "Made"
This is what it really means:
Strong's Number: 2758

Definition
1. to empty, make empty
1. of Christ, he laid aside equality with or the form of God
2. to make void
1. deprive of force, render vain, useless, of no effect
3. to make void
1. cause a thing to be seen to be empty, hollow, false
King James Word Usage - Total: 5
make void 2, make of none effect 1, make of no reputation 1, be in vain 1
So he 'emptied' himself. That's why Jesus didn't know certain things! He gave it up so that He would rely on faith, just as you or I would. We get a picture of that here:
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
(Romans 3)
"By the faith OF Jesus", he faithed in God too! And that's why there are many references to Jesus as being a man, in some ways just like any other man, because a part of his nature is taken as the 'kinsman' so that he would fulfill the role of the 'kinsman redeemer'.
Understand this, and you won't have to wonder any longer!

i know i call my parents when i need help. anywhere from spiritual guidance to money for my college books.
Jesus was God in the flesh and he didn't call on anyone else but God.

At the time the only thing Peter could think of was brute force by slashing off the ear of the soldier to free Jesus, so he told him something he could understand. Any one who could turn water into wine, heal the sick, raise the dead could certainly save themselves.
