Has anyone had this happen to them? A few of my friends tell me they only post to R+S and have had their accounts suspended. They also tell me an appeal email will just generate an automatic response that says basically states they can't be bothered.

Any experiences, thoughts, etc?

I've been there once before; 99 times out of 100 you'll never hear back from management even if they were grossly out of line for suspending your posts/account.

Nothing really you can do except create another account and keep plugging away -- some battles are worth fighting.

Truth.... this is my third incarnation on YA... both other incarnations were ended because of attacks from R&S... I do not play the point game... but both times I was above 6000 points when the ax dropped.

Yahoo will delet ALL you have on Yahoo... including email and access to websites and other things you have paid for... like domain names...and there is nothing you can do about it... that is why if you want to play on YA you need an account just dedicated to YA and use it for nothing else...

Yep, happened to me last year. Some people can't take tough, logical talk, so they lash out by reporting you. There's not much freedom of speech here on YA.
Your appeal email just goes into an email 'black hole' and is never read or responded to.

I have had violation warnings. Try not to be so pushy with your questions and answers. Regardless of what your religion or back ground is... learn to be diplomatic with it and not be offensive to anyone. I know you might not like to be politically correct but since our society is leaning that direction learn to do so... I think you can word you answers in such away as not to grossly offend anyone

True. The more Biblically based one's answers are,the greater the chances are it will be suspended. If you look at top contributors profiles you will find the answers are designed to give the person a warm fuzzy feeling.Usually about 3K is as high as one gets and it gets suspended.

It's impossible to have only 1 Y!A account, initiation includes having your first account deleted.

It's happened to many many people here. Yahoo just implemented new policies Friday, so maybe that will clear up some of those issues.

Religion is a topic where people can easily take offence if your views don't match theirs, so there are probably more suspensions on this topic.

They will get you eventually. It is possible to stay one step ahead for a while, but as do back taxes, it catches up with one ultimately.

R&S is probably the most touchy section on here. You really need to watch what you post, unlike me :)
