I'm very concerned for his soul on the basis of the points which I have listed below:

1) He's not monogomous.
2) He has "special relationships" with other male dogs at the Park.
3) He licks his private parts.
4) He sniffs the behinds of other dogs.

Is there something I can do to get him to act more Christian like? I'm really concerned about his behavior.........

Serious answers only please.

Thanks!

I'm not Christian (so you probably won't take my views seriously) but i think that animals do have energy (or souls) and that, if there is a higher energy (or God) it won't care at all about your dog's apparently un-Christian ways (most 'un-Christian' things like that are not based on anything in the Bible anyway and animals aren't even given the right to have a soul, (a fact which got me questioning Christianity, they have personalities, so how can they not have a soul?)). It's perfectly natural and he's simply following his instincts. While humans may be naturally monogamous (that is, only one mate at a time, not one mate for a life-time), dogs are not. If you believe that God made everything, that must include instincts as well. So let your dog be a dog and don't worry.

You are such a complete *** for even trying to get people to answer this seriously. If you want your dog to exhibit more Christian-like activity, I'd give him away to an actualy Christian and not some asshole kid who apparently got blocked out of all the porn sites.

take him to obedience school where they ought to teach him not to just jump on every dog he sees. You're probably not going to get him to stop licking his privates, but if you did not get him fixed yet i would, because then he will act out less and lose interest in his sexual pursuits...unless he is too old and set in his ways. Next time you get a puppy, get him fixed right away and also take him to obedience training as soon as possible, you'll have a much better dog that way.

He is trying to show you that he is an animal and you are not. He is showing you what animals do so you will do the opposite. I think he is more concerned about you than you are about him. Dogs have a way of loving us like that.

Sounds like he's ALREADY behaving like many of the devout Christians I have known and loved.

You will notice, the man who used to be my stepfather did not allow cursing in the house. But, he didn't give it a moment's hesitation to have affairs with neighbors. Fine example, eh?

well, between you and me... you should be concern of your own behavior. A dog is a dog, but a man is a man.

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." (Acts 17:30,31)

Somehow I feel this answer won't be liked by many. But medicine is the same, they taste bad, but then they help cure you at least a little bit.

For gods sake. He's a dog. Thats what dogs do. Animals are fortunatley not chained by the stupid binds of religion.

Dogs are not bound by the christian scriptures. Only humans....
So stop trying to indoctrinate your pet.
Perhaps if you neutered him, he wouldn't engage in relationships that you are uncomfortable with. But in my opinion, to each his own.

That is why the dogs are called animals, Animals don't have souls! Let him be himself! If they were meant to be Christian like, God would have made them that way!
