why do you..?

On this website i've seen loads of people say that joining wicca is bad, or that its devil worship or heretical and stuff.
Firstly, why do you say it is bad?
Secondly, wiccans don't believe in the devil, so how can we worship him. Thats satanists
And thirdly, anyone who isn't your religion is herectical to your own religion, so everyone is heretical?
But basically why do you urge us not to join wicca, or as you call it 'the dark side'?

Some people are stupid.
Some people are on drugs.
Some people are misinformed.
Some people are EVIL.
Some people get off by lying.

Any one or any combination of the above can result in down talking Wicca.

Magic is from the devil. Why would you need to use magic at all? It creates nothing but trouble. Anyone who used magic was considered to be worshiping the devil. God doesn't give people magic. Only ALLAH(SWT) knows what is in the past, present and future. Not people. There is no reason to use magic. No ALLAH(SWT) talks about magic in the Qur'an in Sura 2.
2:102 The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

102. They pursued what the devils taught
concerning Solomon's kingdom.
Solomon, however, was not a disbeliever,
but the devils were disbelievers.
They taught the people sorcery,
and that which was sent down through
the two angels of Babel, Haroot and Maroot.

People who practice magic or are "psychic" are lying to themselves and are worshiping either the Jinn or the devil and that is how they get their "power". Only ALLAH(SWT) has power over the Heavens and the Earth, over the animals and humans, over the entire universe because ALLAH(SWT) is the Lord and creator of the entire Universe and it is to ALLAH(SWT) that we will return when we die. Then ALLAH(SWT) will judge us according to our good deeds and bad deeds.

Hi....Some individuals don't have the understanding or the concept of the Wicca belief nor do they want to explore or do the research on what it pertains too they just assume. When I'm in doubt on a certain issue or topic I do research to help my knowledge in learning something new or different instead of 'putting down' someones other religion or beliefs such as Wicca. I read on Wicca and what I have learned it's not of satanism. Wicca's do not believe in the devil. Nor do they worship the devil. If I'm not mistaken don't the Wicca's believe in the 'old ways' as to the ways of nature or something similar? Like the druids? The Wicca ways are only 'bad' to those who don't understand their ways or in their beliefs. I don't call the Wicca beliefs as 'the dark side' I see them as a different culture or a different belief other than my own but I do not downgrade one's belief. This would be wrong of me. If you practise white magick (good wicca) its no way at all. I find it very relaxing to do and always feel really good about myself when I've done it. Some people do bad things but you get that in any religion you can think. People who say it is bad are obviously completely ignorant and know nothing about it. I think its a great religion and go you. Good question.

Hey, don't worry about it. It is usually the Christians that tend to disagree with Wicca (although I am sure the other Abrahamic religions would do the same. If you want to follow it, do so. You are only as mad as them!

Most people don't have a clue about what it means to be a Wiccan ... or a Muslim, or an agnostic, or Jewish, or Episcopalian, or Hindu, or ... you get the idea. People are afraid of anything they don't understand, yet they won't take the time and trouble to learn.

People are misinformed and superstitious. Though they believe they follow an All-Powerful Being, they obviously doubt that He could stand His own against some herbs and chants, so they must protect Him and His Honor.
