My boyfriend and i are off to New York in 3 weeks and cant wait, aside from one thing. I have never met his sister and we are due to stay with her and her boytfriend for the 2 weeks we are there. Originally i asked that we get a hotel for the first few nights , just to get over jet lag and get to know each other, but my boyfriend kept forgetting to mention to her that we wanted to do this, so now i feel it is to late to say anything now as it would be rude but i feel uncomfortable as i dont know her and i know that she is a clean freak so i wont be able to relax even more with that, she seems very nice but it is spoiling it a bit but then i dont want to stop my man from staying with his sister, please give my opinions help!!!!

Don't panic, she might be great. If not at least you gave it a try and you'll have a legitimate excuse next time to get a hotel.

If she seems to be offended when you suggest it, just say, it's a holiday and I want to be a slob and have other people make my bed and cook for me and clean up after me. I'm due for a spoiling and I just couldn't ask that of you. You're so sweet to offer to have us though.

Personally, if I were his sister, I would probably would have been offended a little bit if he came and stayed at a hotel, unless there isnt enough space for you guys.

The only advise I can give you is to relax, be nice and police to her. Also, try to make an effort to keep up with rules as it is her house.

Good Luck and enjoy your vacation.

i will very lots relate and empathize with you right here. that's unhappy using fact it makes you dread the trip journeys as a substitute of wait for them. in case you and your husband experience such as you're able to pass to maintain the peace then listed right here are some concepts. you already understand they're going to act impolite, so purely upward thrust above it and don't enable them to get to you. they're those with the problem and that they are people who're going to have a depressing holiday using fact they insist on having drama. enable them to act impolite and don't take part in it. make certain now which you will have a large holiday and you're no longer likely to enable any of them have the skill to smash it for you. in actuality pass out of your way act joyful and friendly. enable anybody understand which you're having a large time and "kill them with kindness". this would possibly not in user-friendly terms lead them to experience stupid for appearing so infantile yet while they see that their efforts to dissatisfied you're no longer working they might stop being so impolite and pass onto some thing else. i in my opinion experience for you using fact I even have long gone contained in direction of the comparable difficulty and understand how lots it sucks. it is the final way I even have stumbled directly to handle all those persons. purely remember, you won't be able to administration the way they act yet you are able to administration the type you act or react to them. do no longer enable them to get you down. remember, they're those with the problem. ultimate of success to you and desire you have a incredible holiday!

Call her up and tell her that you two decided it would be best to stay in a motel.
Chances are it will be a relief to his sister.
