"Spiritual Truth Message"?

Oh, man, here comes the Hallmark Cards festival.

It'd be a far better world if people weren't "on fire" to share their poorly thought-out shallow musings about the meaning of life. They're about as significant and welcome as a telemarketing call.

I guess that we are not much farther along, in some ways, than Adam, in that we are still looking to the tree of knowledge to save us instead of looking to God, Also that the tree wasn't bad, as God said that everything he had made was very good, It appears we just weren't mature enough yet. Having nuclear power and not the maturity to use it right, is one witness to our spiritual maturity. Nothing really changes. Like in physics, the rules remain the same. Adam heard God. Now, in an age were we could be more spiritually mature, few hear God. It seems we are going backwards. I don't see where the commision to make the earth a paradise or our dominion over the earth has been recinded, but now we are waiting for someone else to do it. Being responsible doesn't mean political action, but mainly to spread the word to all the earth and then the end will come. That doesn't mean preaching to ourselves, but in the remotest areas of the world also. It didn't say to keep repeating the same thing over and over either, people have heard it, but rather let us come reason together. Not speaking in a language people understand isn't right. I notice that Jesus' message was a bit different than what I hear being preached. It seems we are preaching Paul, when Paul pointed to Christ and not himself. I don't expect anyone to re-read what Jesus taught, as the good news, but I can't help but think it would be a good idea. He condensed it down as far as it should go, I imagine.

"Christ died for sinners, of whom I am chief."

One reason that this statement is so significant is the core truth behind it. The Creator is personally involved with individuals, and is particularly interested in reconciliation.

Personally, I think I cold give Paul a run for his money on who was the REAL Chief of Sinners, but that's just me. It is enough for me to know that no matter what I have done in the past, God wants me to run to Christ, not after I have met a number of behavioural requirements, but RIGHT NOW, while I am still at odds with Him. Once I do that, everything else can be put right. That means that Christianity isn't about being a good person. It isn't even a belief system for good people. It is a way for everyone, no matter what you were before, to be restored to God. This truth changed my life, and I am eager to share it with everyone.

1Cor 15:45b
.. The Last Adam became a Life giving Spirit..
This truly changed my christian life drastically. Seeing that in resurrection Christ as the Last Adam became a Life Giving Spirit. 2 Cor 3:17 ' And the Lord is the Spirit and where the SPirit of the Lord is there is freedom" hallelujah!!
He said in Jn 10:10b.." I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly". I always just saw the Lord as the Lord but never as the Life Giving SPirit to deal with all the death in my being and around me. Romans 8:6 shares.. " the mind set on the flesh is death but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace" So today brother. This Life Giving Spirit indwells us. He is able to infuse us with all the Riches of all Christ's attainments and what He obtained into us.
I am so touched and enlivened by this precious " missed' truth regarding Christ as the Spirit.

Great Q
Ty for the opportunity to share
ur sis

The truth about the Sabbath. Sabbath is on Saturday and not Sunday. I have been a Christian Sabbatarian and this has been a life changing wonderful experience since making the change to honor God's true day of Rest and Worship.

I am most thankful for the Seventh-day Adventists for sharing this truth many years ago.

Mine came in 1965.

It changed my life
It didn't give me more, or less 'hope' than I had before.

It was a 'message' contained in experience that caused me to understand what stakes involved in the living of this life.

I'm not on fire to share it with others. Not even inclined to do so.

I share it with whomever I wish, not frequently. Usually with someone who's experienced something identical.

i must concur with jana11. i remember being involved in a different religion and feeling so empty and asking God to show me if there was more. i discovered the infilling of the Holy Ghost and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins (according to Acts 2:38) and that the promise was to me as well as the early church and that God is no respecter of persons and he changes not. that is the event that took the emptiness away, that changed my life forever after i truly repented of my sins.

It came from the Lord Himself. He showed me the reasons and purpose for the existence of the U.S. and why it is never mentioned in the Bible.

How does it change me? Only in that my eyes are opened.

I share it with anyone who is interested.

Ya'shua Messiah is Jehovah - Jesus Christ is I Am that I Am.

Jesus of the New Testament - Our Salvation, is the same God of the Old Testament...the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is the bread (the Word/Scripture), He is the Wine (Blood/Atonement) and He is the Oil (The Spirit/Life). All things were created through Him, by Him and for Him...it is through Him that we live move and have our being. He and the Father are One...Jehovah - I Am that I Am. Love in Christ, ~J~
