As christian put it so mildly in another question.

For some reason customer care deleted this question, which is the reason for the ridiculous use of symbols for letters. Trying to evade whatever filter set it off. I also posted a link to the original question, I'll leave that out for now.

E-Male: Not quite sure what you're going on about, care to rephrase? I must be a little slow.

Notice that you use "when will you" and then use "get it through their thick..."
You seem to have a pronoun problem. Until this is resolved very few people are going to regard your utterances as having much merit.

You're right. The Jesus myth is about freedom. The behavior manual and multiple crusading armies that came afterward are anything but. Enact the myth in your own life, and leave the rest of us alone.

Yes, freedom... You are free to either do as he says, or be violently tortured for all eternity... That isn't being "about freedom", and even if it were, why would it matter?... It isn't that we think the dude was divine and are pissed at him, we just see no reason to believe he had super powers...

That's utter nonsense. Why did Jesus agree with slavery? He had no women among his disciples. Christianity has always been very anti-freedom. And Jesus was most likely a myth anyway.

There is no freedom in christianity. In christianity you either accept the doctrine (dogma) or you are condemmend to eternal torment in hell. Thats their stated position. Freedom is a Greek concept, not a christian concept. Chritianity is trying to hijack it just like they did with many holidays such as christmas.

Christians can't seem to "get it through their thick skulls" that freedom includes the freedom to choose what religion (or lack thereof) you want to follow.

you are right, freedom from his word is one of the freedoms, so why should you be turning people against his word by preaching to them? because you are a hypocrite. he let them choose , why can't you? btw fvsdfs has an awesome set of legs. yep, I'm lusting, is that a sin also?

If Jesus is all about freedom then I'm free to believe what I want without fear of punishment right?

Jesus--the real one--is about freedom. Why do conservative Christians hate freedom so much, though?

Freedom? His message sounds socialistic/communistic to me.
