.050 is the spark plug gap.

I looked it up right in the Champion Spark Plug Book.

I remove the intake...makes its very easy. Just be careful nothing gets into the engine and replace the intake gaskets. Get a Haynes or Chilton manual at an auto parts store and see what it says. These books are a great resource.

all fords have the plug gap on the tag either on the valve cover or the tag on the radiator support, this is what ford reccomends the gap to be

There should be a tag under the hood that tells you what plug and what gap.
I know this is right - I just did one yesterday
