came over to our home, unannounced durring our visitaion. SD saw her out the window, opened up the door and said "Hi Mommy." My husband heard her say this and started to walk towards the front door. Before he got around the corner, he heard SD yell, "Daddy!" By the time he got to the door, Baby Mama was running off of property and jumped into the passenger seat of an unknow vehicle with SD on her lap (no car seat or seatbelt) and they peeled out of the edition. There were skid marks left on the road. My husband called the cops, but they said there was nothing they could do b/c it was her mother. My husband called her...She picked up the phone, screamed “Take it up with the courts, B!^@#!” and hung up on him. They did go to court and the judge ordered them to take a parenting class ($100!). She has a long history of eratic behavior, but every time we take her to court, she lies on the stand, judge believes her and we wasted another day that we could be working. What to do...??

This was technically kipnaping. It was a violation of visitation rights. Since the Ex is not obeying the agreements written with the courts, you will need to take the matter to the courts for resolution.

The history of erratic behavior... the Ex probably needs evaluation by a psychologist for the court to consider all that. The psychologist usually works for whomever pays the psychologist and will reflect that.

In the meantime, your hubby needs to have a talk with his daughter about how to handle this stuff. She is apparently very innocent and probably too young to understand all these nuances at this point.

Get a lawyer. Solidify the expectations of visitation time -- if it's in the legal documents that she cannot interrupt visitation, you have more grounds to stand on.

The police take an extremely, extremely hands-off approach to domestic things, especially child custody. You are going to have to work through your lawyers and the courts to solidify and enforce his rights.

I think that lady is just doing a dramatic play to get the interest of your husband and to ruin both of you. Stop putting her to court. Just told her if she will not stop doing that then get the custody of her child.... Because if she is a responsible mother she will took her baby... if not her baby will be a burden to her so therefore she will stop doing that so.

i'm sorry, yet i do no longer see a lot of a call in case you go with to act like an excellent man or woman. We enter relationships with adults willingly on the two factors, they might smash up while people pass aside. in case you go with to go right into a dating with a youthful newborn and take on the area of stepfather, then you definately've taken on an important duty which you may desire to fulfil, even in cases the place the dating might desire to be strained or no longer valuable to attend to. i'm afraid that a dedication in direction of a newborn can not be broken as particularly as one in direction of an person. proceed to do the terrific situation, it might desire to be the extra stable highway to pass down, yet you would be a extra effective man or woman for it. you have my admiration.

That's crazy if it's true.

Call your attorney and ask what to do. I don't think the courts will do anything for you except maybe hold her in contempt for not following the visitation decree.

Contine to fight within the courts and the system....never let your hubby give up the fight to have hands on time with his daughter.....you haven't wasted another day unless that's the way you allow it to be viewed.....

She still loves him and does not want to share her child with you because the child is a part of him... the only part she has left. Take a moment and put your self in her shoes,.... she is still in love with him.
So, she resents you, any female he is with.
