I love Nigella Lawsons lemon syrup cake recipe - its lemon sponge, then drizzled with a lemon syrup which soaks in and makes it really moist. Delicious!
And I also really love cheesecake, but Im rubbish at making them - the base always goes soggy for some reason!

I love Christmas cake, all fruit and proper bakewell tart. I love almonds.

All time favorite - chocolate (enough said) with confectioner's sugar & cocoa on it, not crapped up with alot of other junk.
2nd place - premium tres leche (oh man oh man, I can't keep one of these around!)
3rd place - spice cake with real cream cheese frosting on the top only and apple pie filling on top of that (truly mouth-watering).
Then there's cheese cake and that's in a category all by itself.

cream cakes are nice...but it has to be buttercream. Fruit cake is also really nice..especially if its covered in marzipan and icing ! My two favourite cakes in the world are my mums fruit cake & her chocolate cake...they are really moist which is what i love

What about the Sacher torte? Big, fat, delicious Austrian chocolate cake...yummy!
But I also like the good, old fashioned apple pie :)
