If you want to get something just for her, get a gift certificate to a nice spa or hair salon. This would be more for a Christmas type thing. If you don't want to spend that much, a gift certificate to a bookstore or a teacher supply store. That way she can get what she wants. Hope this helps.

Best gift I think you can give a teacher besides an apple is a book.

Several of my friends are teachers. They hate the normal teacher stuff such as apples, mugs, erasers and such. Each and every one of them say that. I have been instructed by them to never, ever give that stuff to a teacher.

I just gave my daughter's teacher a gift certificate ($10.00) to Chili's restaurant. She seemed to really like it and I believe she will use it. She told me I could not have gone wrong there.

I think restaurant certificates and such are cool. I don't know how much you are willing to spend, but I think that would be a nice gift. Now you can buy them almost anywhere too. I bought mine at Walgreens. Just a thought....

Good luck

I second Ann's suggestion. Go with a book, or, better yet, a gift card to a local bookstore so the teacher can self-select.

I work as a teacher's aid for kindergarten and the teacher's love gift cards for Staples or someplace where they can buy school supplies.

As a teacher, gift cards to bookstores are great!

See if they have "wish lists". Where my kids go to school the teachers make up wish lists and they are posted in the schools lobby.
