Politicians, in general, and Parliamentarians in particular have insulated themselves from all rules and regulations applicable to ordinary citizens.They can increase their salaries and perks, they can have wealth disproportionate to their known incomes, they can do a lot more things unashamedly. In today's coalition politics a lot more irregularities can be commited than when single majority party governments are there.
So your suggestion / protest is only a cry in wilderness. There will not be any retirement age for this privileged class.
