You have to remember that God is the architect of all existence. Your question isn't plausible because nothing can stop the desire of God. Although he gave Adam and Eve free will, he still knew what would happen. Its all in his great plan.

1. If Adam and Eve had not defaulted their mission, the world would have been vastly different! Much more a veritable paradise than what we have now.
2. Christ never "needed" to be crucified in the first place; that was mankind's difficulty in struggling to explain the events at the time.
If you are serious to find more facts about those days, then try following the links provided below. Most people won't entertain new ideas and supposings with any real zest, so I'm hoping, if you really wonder and want to explore possibilities, you'll check out these thoughts in these papers.
Best wishes to you! ~Mrs. C

I think it is questionable that "we" would even exist if Adam and Eve hadn't been exiled to the earth. We are a product of their mistake...if they hadn't made that mistake, we wouldn't be here! ...and if we weren't here, no, Christ would not have needed to be crucified for our mistakes.
Remember that one of the consequences of choosing "death" as their fate was that women would suffer "painful childbirth"...the key word isn't "pain", it is "childbirth"!
If Adam and Eve hadn't chosen to disobey God, they would still be in paradise (they would have found that tree of life eventually!)...it might be just the two of them or perhaps God would have created others. However, "we" would not even exist...childbirth wouldn't even exist.
Remember that God created Adam out of dust in a day and created Eve out of a rib in single evening/night. That's a far more efficient method than the way we do it...if God wanted to populate the world with people that would follow his instructions, he could do it with a snap of his fingers.
If Adam and Eve hadn't chosen to determine their own existence, there would be no childbirth! Seems consistent to me...God's way or our way...God's way is to speak things into existence, our way is to create them using the resource of our body. We are all a product of "our way"...if Adam and Eve hadn't chosen that path, we would NOT exist because everything would still be done God's way!

If Adam and Eve had not sinned, then there would be no sin(s) to atone for. Christ's sacrifice would therefore not be needed.

Idk about the first part but, I do not believe Christ had to die in order for God to forgive us. God is quite capable of forgiving us without that. Christ chose to die in order for us to believe God forgave us. Remember the time that Christ was from. Sacrifice was part of daily life then. Christ wouldn’t have been believed if he had been a she either. Leaving a complicated belief system at that, no, I absolutely am not religious, but I do try to be totally spiritual.

Yes, we are still in Paradise. The Paradise is planet Earth. Don't you realize that?

The only reason Adam had to experience death was because of disobedience.
If he stayed loyal, no death, no ending of paradise.
Jesus would not have to do what he did.
