pulled up the windshield wiper. When I put it back in place, it doesn't work anymore. However when I use it with washer fluid, the motor turns the wiper blades. Does anyone know what went wrong and why the motor only works on the WASH option? If so, whats the cost look like to fix it?

The wiper rotates, however only when I use the Wiper wash option where it dispenses the fluid. Just doesnt work when it's raining for example and need them on at a certain speed.

How do you know they worked before you pulled into the car wash? Check the owner's manual in the glove compartment to make sure your operating the controls correctly. Usually one of the arms gets forcibly rotated so that it goes off the windshield when they're wiping back and forth. You can easily fix that problem by removing the complete wiper arm and rotating somewhat to correct for the overshoot. See online video below that shows the arm being removed for that problem.

Check wiper motor fuses. Because wiper's work on washer circuit so wiper motor is still good. If fuses are burned out regular opperation of wiper's will not work. Check wiper motor switch. The diodes may be burned out.May have dirty connection on wiper motor plugs. Probably $30.00

The car wash probably knocked it off track, and you will probably pay around $80-$100.00, depending on if the motor was damaged in the process. You gotta look at parts and labor.
