How can they not know that they are worshiping a beast or an idol? If they are praying in front of a plate of spaghetti and say "Dear Lord" then they are praying to God. If they say "Dear Flying Spaghetti Monster" then it is not to God.
If they are in a church and worshiping the preacher (discuised as the beast) then they are wrong by not worshiping God to begin with. The choice is still theirs.

YES. There are three reasons why it happens:
1. They deceive themselves by claiming to have the Holy Ghost speaking to them when in reality that Holy Ghost is nothing but their own mind.
2. They use the Book of Revelations to come up with any prophecy that they want.
3. They have beliefs that are not supported by anything that Jesus reportedly said. In this case, they rely on Paul's Hellenistic teachings, which are at odds with the Old Testament.

There are and that is why many will take the mark of the beast. They will be deceived by the great deceiver. Satan, is the great deceiver and all that follow him will not rule in glory with him, they will perish in the pits of Hell.

There is always the chance of being lured or deceived by any of the very many false gods (lust, greed, power, allah, etc).
The solution is to grow and strengthen in the spirit, and to place trust and faith in the love and mercy of the one true God.
Good question.

All "Christians" are deceived. True faith is Nazarene Judaism. "Christianity" is a heathen religion.

Exactly correct!
The bible tells us that Satan has the whole world deceived.
However there exist 6.7 million of us who know it and try to tell others.
