That is about as arrogant, bigoted, and outrageous as anything I have so far read on Q & A. Who the heck are YOU to be attempting to interfere with another person and use "tactics" on this young girl to pull her over to your personal belief system? You want to get into her life, and very probably stir up a lot of trouble between her and her parents over this matter... for what? You want to get in her pants, but don't want to be sleeping with a Muslim is that it?
How the heck would YOU like it if somebody decided to try and "use tactics" on you to get you to change to their religion? Oh, I know what you would answer to that. You would say "That couldn't happen because I am absolutely too solidly lodged in MY faith for anyone to be able to change me". Ohhh, I see, so that means you are prepared to take advantage of her immaturity, her lack of sophistication, and her own uncertainties to force her over to your christian belief. Dang, that's righteous of you!
Leave this young woman the heck alone. She has the absolute same rights that you do, and if ever there was an inalienable right, surely the one at the top of the totem pole would have to be the right of every single human being to find his own path to walk, to be the owner of his own mind, and the master of his OWN thinking and believing, without any deliberate "tactics" by anyone else to urge, persuade, pressure, coerce, or unduly influence that person to satisfy your own personal requirements because you happen to think your way is better.

I am not a practising Muslim too but Christianity the best faith? I wouldn't agree. Catholic ... hmm... why not the mormons or something. If you ask me... i'd rather say Buddha is a better faith. The Buddhist monks seem very more sincere than the church. Forget that converting part. A non-practising Muslim like us, if we don't repent are doomed to rot in hell with everyone else...especially Rushdie and his worshippers.

If you pick to train Protestant religion then you're a Protestant, no longer a Catholic. Of direction that's your option, however being a Catholic manner following the Catholic ideology. Included within the ideology is a perception that the Catholic Church has the fullness of God's instructing.

Do not preach, do not prod her, do not force anything upon her. The best thing you can do is lead by example and let her come to you. Show her what a good christian is, don't tell her about it. A lot of people hate Bible-thumpers and people who are constantly saying "I love Jesus." Take it slow. Let her ask questions, don't force scripture on her. If she asks something about a practice, or a tradition, then answer her, but don't ever tell her about your religion unless it is solicited. And don't tell her Islam is wrong. This is a delicate situation.

why is Christianity "the best" faith? That seems a bit condescending. If and when she is interested in Christianity, she will seek it on her own. Don't push her into it. Its her life. Just be a good friend and an example of a good Christian.

well i will like to say thanks for accepting me as a member. some time we see our mother as been over shadow our family, remember the father is the head of the family and i see no reason why she should followed her father's religion then her mother will now disown her, in my own area, the father has the full right to decide what others should do in his house not the mother, so tell her to take the advantage of her father been a christian and follow her father footstep to know christ, tell her to follow her father from there God will surely workout her next step.

It's up to her to decide what she would believe in. Who is to say that christianity is the best faith. The way I look at it is God loves everyone no matter what they believe.

It's hard to convert a Muslim to any other religion, even if they aren't religious or practicing. She knows what the right religion is and isn't. It's her choice, not yours.

Why would her mom disown her? she married a Christian didn't she, seems a little hypocritical. It's up to her, offer the oppurtunity to come to church, but if she denys don't worry about it. It taks a LONG time, be patient, subtle, and don't force it.

All faiths preach love, affection and peace. It does not matter whatever faith your daughter follows,as long as she follows the eternal traditions of good clean LIVING.
