It doesn't happen everytime he drinks beer just sometimes. He is one who likes his beer and likes to drink.

The alcohol is escaping through the pores of the skin and the fermentation of the beer is making it smell funky...or he spilled some on himself too?

If it only happens sometimes... it is probably because he spills it on himself when he drinks... or wipes his mouth on his forearm after an especially satisfying swig. It may also have to do with the type of beer he is drinking. Typically a hoppier beer will radiate through the pores... think Indian food syndrome. If he drinks bud or other lighter beers I would loop back to the original answer.

Yeah that's just it, he's drinking too much. If at anytime you can smell alcohol/beer through your pores, it's time to slack up. Take a hot bath and clean your pores out.

it all about how much beer can one person drink, i've seen people that drink so much that it seems to come thru there pores maybe ask him to cut back on the drinking a little

sounds like he's been a drinker for quite some time.....when someones skin smells like beer it's because they are an alcoholic and the liver is so weak from filtering all of the alcohol that it releases more into the bloodstream...so when he sweats even a tiny bit it will smell horribly like beer......fact is the only time that happens is with alcoholics.... he needs to stop drinkin before his liver fails him....

I suspect that your boyfriend is an alcoholic and that the beer you're smelling is the result of his pores releasing the alcohol. Get out while you can!

This is one method that the body disposes of the alcohol. The liver and kidneys can't do it all and the pores of your skin are merely helping the other organs survive the 'poison' that alcohol is to the body.

He sweats it out through his pores. The next morning.....ughhh! So disgusting. The worst smell IN THE WORLD, is a guy who was drinking all night! yUck
