James 1:22

"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."

James 1:26-27

"If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

As I said before, religion is nothing without LOVE! Would you simply love?

Amen!

Spirituality is nothing without love and neither is religion.

Unfortunately the religions known as fundamentalist know little about love. Their forte is judgement with a liberal sprinkling of self-righteousness.

That expression of love you are referring to is helping your fellow brother and sisters where they are at to invoke grace within their life by helping them to make gains where they are at by reversing what has ailed them.

But there is a mystery in that second verse though and it has to do with the higher reality of orphans and widows and how it was used by spiritual Mystics. A orphan is one who has no parents and a widow is one who has loss its husband. What this is referring to is that a widow is a seeker who has drawn away from the force of this world, or *bondage* to the vices of this world which entrap them, which would mean the former way has become dead to them. But a Widow is one that is in mourning of the former, so they are in a transition where they have been freed but yet the conditioning and pull of those aspects of the past still remains with them, and they look back. So they have not advanced on yet to be enjoined with the higher spiritual way of the soul.

An orphan is one who has neither father nor mother, but are born abandoned - this is in reference to immaturity of mind and understanding, where they have yet to even begin seeking and certainly not in a manner that is conducive to a son/daughter. They can be seen as the prodigal son/daughter squandering away their inheritance, or vital energy in this world instead of towards the expansion of mind. So as one can see, those verses as for so much more.

Yes, God's Love is probably the most important in a walk with Him, but I still believe How you achieve the goal of reaching Christ is important whether you become a Christian. The Bible says you must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven; that includes repenting your sins; and it does say you must go through Jesus to reach the Father. Those are in the Bible and those must also be followed. But what you are saying here is, to me, the basic Golden Rule, DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. You follow this in getting along with fellowman, you cannot go wrong. I love a prayer I believe written by Dag Hammersjold entitled, "Love the world through me, Lord". That sums it up pretty well. In Christ's love, have a good day.

Poor Christains have to go long way as Saint Paul has defaced all the teachings of Holy Christ. They start looking for truth in the catacombs and the caves around the Dead Sea.They must start reading the Deaad Sea Scrolls first.
