It is fair. The owners decide on what make they want to use for thier teams. At the end of this year Joe Gibbs is moving for the pontiacs to Toyota. That's what makes Nascar what it is. Chevy has proven to be the better car time in and time out over the last 20 or so years. Just look at the amount of wins. It's not just because there are more drivers driving chevy either. The better ones drive for chevy. Go GM... Go Dale Jr. win a race before you leave DEI.

Sure it's fair. the teams choose which manufacture they want for what ever reason they want. Most of the time it's for money. Next year there will be at least 10 Toyota teams and expect that to keep rising the year after that. And with that Chevy is losing at least three.

Its just the way it is. Teams are free to choose who they want to race with. If you want to race a subpar Toyota but get a fat Toyota paycheck out of it then go for it.
Chevy has the best recent results and is good to their teams. They also have probably 3 of the top 5 teams in the sport. Hendrick, RCR, and Gibbs (for a few more weeks). Ford has Roush. Dodge has Penske. Toyota has nobody this year. With 3 good teams instead of only 1 you will get better results.

that's a silly question. It's not like they don't have a stinkin' choice about what kind of car to drive. People have preferences. Your dad probably likes Ford as opposed to Chevy, that's because his dad, and his grandfather were Ford men. This is the reason, other than someone is more familiar with the way Chevy runs as opposed to Toyota, Pontiac, etc. I, used to be a Chevy man until they started catering to soccer moms with the way they built their trucks.

That is the business.
The teams have to sign with the manufactures. If Ford and Toyota and Dodge want more teams then they should offer up a better deal than Chevy.
Watch Toyota. I bet they become more of a force in Nascar simply because they want to win.

Blame the Team Owners and all the other businessmen that work for them. They negotiate w/ the Manufacturers and decide what make to run.
Don't worry, Next Season w/ full time C.O.T. races.. All the cars will be identical body wise. The manufacturers will only be paying to put the motor, and stickers on the outside of the car. No more body style changes!

If Chevy can contract with more teams, then so be it. They must have something to offer that is more enticing than the other companies!
Go Jr.>>>>
