your quite right, the Son and the Holy Ghost are added on by the church. They were Incorporated to give an answer to the divinity of Jesus, so that he could be seen as more than a man, thus the myth becomes legend and the church becomes the successor of God! it was done to usurp power from God and put the Pope as the most Divine power on earth. Remember you can't get to heaven without going through St Peter! oh! and don't forget, then they added Mary and the Saints, all with the power of Jesus, then Idolatry, you could be cured from just kissing the statue of the Virgin Mother. God has become Gods, all so the church can extort, cheat and deceive you out of your Money! let us not forget, that this is what the church was in its greatest time up to the 16C, Mafioso!!!

Yes! God the Father. God the Son & God the Holy Ghost are indeed one. You are asking how? I always try to explain it this way. It's quite simple really.
Think of an egg. One thing right? And egg is made up of three different parts.Crack an egg open. It will no longer be one. You have the shell wich has been broken, (Jesus) You have the white, (Holy Ghost) Then you have the Yoke,(The Father God) Yet they are one egg, until you seperate the different parts.
Now think of a family of three. You have the Father, The Mother, the Child. Three seperate persons yet together the are one Family.
I hope this is helpful.

This was something Jesus taught people to understand.
He was a Jew. He knew above all else that there was only one God. He believed keenly that the Jews had been guided by God throughout their history. He also knew that He was not just a prophet of God, but that he was one with the Father himself. The same essence of being that had created the universe (whether that was in days or millennia) dwelled in him, and was achieving a great work by living on earth, and later, by dying at the hands of his own creation.
God the Father and Jesus form two people of the Trinity. The third, the Holy Spirit, describes that same nature, the essence that is common both to God the Father and to Jesus, but this time living on earth, as God's own presence among his believers, and working in the hearts of all those who are baptised into the salvation won by Jesus' death and ressurection.
The honest answer is, it's not supposed to make sense. It's pure absurdity from start to finish. God made man, gave his life for us, that we could be reunited to our Creator, God the Father. It makes no sense. Then he gave his own Spirit to dwell among us, that we might have the benefits of our eternal life whilst we are still living on earth. It's all too good to be true.
But that doesn't stop it being true.
It's the most amazing truth this world will ever know: God, 3 in 1, yet one in every way.
Awesome.

If a human parent has a child...is that child any less human. God has His Son and His Son is God. One God. One Jehovah. Not three...not the Trinity. Its there but you have to read to understand...The Holy Spirit is the power of God. The Father, no man has seen except the Son. Jesus is the Word. In the beginning the Word was with God and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, by Him and for Him...it is through Him that we live move and Have our being and there is no higher name. He is the beginning and the end. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

One God. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are two other, separate entities. They are the only two entities to have achieved perfect oneness with God. The Holy Ghost has never been in the flesh, Jesus was born into the flesh as the only begotten Son of God. God is Holy, Holy, Holy as are Jesus and the Holy Ghost. This is the trinity. One God with the only two who have achieved perfect oneness with him, they are holy like God.

THREE. Take a look at RB's answer. It is typical of those who believe in the trinity. He said: "His Son JESUS and then the HOLY SPIRIT that is manifest in those that Believe. All Three are one and all three are separate from one another." He says God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy ghost are separate from one another, right? So, how many gods is that? THREE!
The Bible does not teach the trinity. Instead, Jesus said at John 17:3 that his Father was the only true God. That eliminates the trinity.

This is one of those matters of doctrine that cause a lot of trouble. The trouble comes, I think, from people who claim to understand this absolutely, and if you don't agree with them you're going straight to hell! How there can be three persons, but one God is hard for me to get. Multiple expressions of one God, yes I can get that. Then again, Jesus says he will be seated at the right hand of the Father, and clearly answers to Him. Clearly, the Father is in charge. In John it states, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Do you see what I mean? The Word is Jesus Christ. Just do your best to understand and do what's right. You can't do any more. I Corinthians 13 makes clear that "love" is much more important than understanding everything about doctrine.

try looking this up in your bible: Matthew 28:19, where Jesus instructs the apostles: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
I think that, that is a big reference to the trinity!
Think of it like this: if you own a car it has many parts like the wheels or the engine, but when you talk about the car as a whole it's 'the car', but if you look at the engine you talk about 'the car's engine'. when you take your car in for a service you talk of it as a whole even though the service might just be the engine or the aircon or the breaks.
In other words God the father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit are one entery called God but if you talk about the holy spirit you are talking about that part of God.
I hope that my answer has helped.
