folks, i plan on getting a armband tattoo, thorns maybe. however my partner says it's trashy for a woman to have a armband. i'm solid, never will be skinny. tell me folks if you were in line and spot a woman with a armband tattoo is your first thought - trashy woman -? i bet i'm older than most of you with a kid in high school. come on i need your past thoughts when you have looked up and saw a arm band on a woman..what did ya think of her?

Tattoos on women are no more trashy than tattoos on men.
I am sick of the "tramp stamp" label
I am sick of there being some magical number of tattoos that are acceptable for a woman to have. What I am OK to look at with 3, but if I have more I am now trashy?
If YOU like a tattoo design, and YOU want to put it on YOUR body, and YOU want it as an armband, then do it!
Nobody has the right to tell you what you can and cannot wear as body art and where to put it.

ive got more than an armband, however i did start off with just an armband..
i dont think they look trashy, ive always loved tattoos on a male or female (( im gay )) just the art and meaning of them is wonderful.
after all , its ur arm, ur body, ur meaning.. if someone elses opinion isnt something like u wanna hear, then maybe u shouldnt get it.. cuz ur influenced by others.. if you dont care what others opinions are.. then go for it.. trashy or not.
but in my opinion, theyre not trashy, its how u carry urself..

I am 27 with 13 tattoos and think that armband are very masculine. I don't care for them on women

Trashy is as trashy does. Tattoos are just body art, and if you like armbands, you should get one!

i'm all for it's your body and you should do whatever you want. but, personally, i wouldn't get one. i don't have a problem with people with tats (i have two) but armbands are seen to be a more masculine tat. i think if you added something in with the thorns that feminized it (something with some color maybe), it would be really awesome. if you are really set on the thorns alone, the ankle is a really sexy place for a tat on a woman and you can still do the band thing. happy inkin'. :)

I love all tattoos, and I have some on my arms, though no armband...... if I see a woman with an armband, I walk up to her and compliment her on it, and start the 'let me show you my tattoos too' conversation :) . To each his own.

i HATE armband tattoos on anybody... they're just so "ugh". arm tattoos don't look bad on girls but go for something great and not just mediocre and there for the sake of having one. be creative. here are some arm tattoos on girls that i know

arms are a great place to get a great tattoo that will probably be seen fairly often by other people. don't ruin your arm with something less than wonderful. if you chose the right artist you can have an amazing tattoo that you can be proud of. one that people will actually stop you on the street and compliment and ask where you got it. have you ever seen a woman with an armband tattoo and wanted to go up to that person and tell them how beautiful it was and ask who their artist was?

Go for it!I don't think tattoos are trashy- and the opinion of anyone on ya shouldn't be your deciding factor. You need to do what will please you honey, you deserve to ink what you wish its your body after all! Good luck:)
