I'd rather be illegal personally than immoral. These people in here think that they are God or something. Who died and made them King of the earth? I certainly am not affected by illegal immigrants. I am a US Citizen, I pay my taxes, I work, I mind my own business. I live a very happy life! If my taxes go to help people better their lives, then so be it! I make charitable donations all the time so how is this any different? I think people have nothing better to do with their lives so they focus their anger on illegal immigration. I personally am more worried about getting our troops home and stopping the massacre that is going on in Iraq. So how's that for moral! ;)

Well if we were talking about being an illegal alien in Mexico vs. an immoral citizen, you'd be contemplating this question in a jail or have already experienced deportation.
Mexico takes its immigration laws very seriously- they are among the strictest in the world- and they don't allow U.S. citizen flavor Americans the free reign that has come to be expected of their citizens here.
We are both nations of laws and citizenry denotes certain rights and responsibilities. We pay taxes to our government and enjoy certain types of services in terms of education, infrastructure, and support. If our services are stretched thin because others come in and utilize them we all suffer.
It doesn't mean we are better, we are just different nations, just as Denmark, Jamaica, the Czech Republic, etc. are other nations who are responsible for taking care of their own citizens and not expect the United States and its taxpayers to support them. The nation of Mexico, as the largest source of illegal immigration, should be no different.

AN ILLEGAL ALIEN IS WORSE.
At least an Immoral Citizen is still a CITIZEN.
It has no link to being born North or South of any river or borader. It is about following the law and contributing you fare share.
Illegals do not contribute, they dimminish. They take take take take and do not contribut in return.
Citizens pay taxes and that is how they contribute. Illegals do not pay taxes but they take advantage of everything.

Speak for yourself. I don't put myself above or below any other person born on the American hemisphere.
You speak as if you've never seen a citizen of the United States ever weep because their amazing Mexican neighbors are in danger of being deported. Been there.
Oh, and since they had jobs that weren't 'for cash', they were paying income tax.

Illegals are also immoral!! They are KNOWINGLY breaking laws (great examples they are setting for their kids!!)
Instead of coming here LEGALLY like the MILLIONS of other immigrants did when they came through the US, illegals choose to come here illegally with lame excuses that the process takes too long, is expensive and costs lots of money (all of which are NOT TRUE!!)

Both are bad. I dont hear anyone saying they are the only Americans but it is the most common term used to describe a citizen of the United States.

Lose the "better than X" crud, please!!!
The U.S. is clearly the destination of choice for millions of immigrants, would-be immigrants and, of course, those who disrespect law (while hungrier, more desperate people respect it) and cut in line, jumping the border.
This nation isn't "better" because of who was born here but WHAT was born here:
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
Think about it. Y'might learn something.
As for the very real problems of those seeking to come here for a better life, you owe it to yourself to see a completely honest, substantiated presentation of what's really happening:

What makes you think they are mutually exclusive?
If their countries will take our citizen 'immorals' I'm happy to keep their illegal morals, but the numbers are too big for us to keep taking both. Plus, their illegal immorals we don't want, at all.
