There's as many answers for this as there are people.

Is it at all possible that faith is simply believing that Jesus' death was enough to save all mankind, forgoing our beliefs that we must do something?

Faith in the belief that God so loves His creation that He sent salvation for all mankind?

Salvation through man's effort has always been with us, since the time of Nimrod and well before.

People have sacrificed and sacrificed since the dawn of time trying to attain their god's favor.

So isn't it time to really state there was and is and will never be anything any of us are, were, or are going to be able to do to be eligible for His salvation?

Isn't this faith the very mustard seed of being in a relationship with Him, believing that His death is and always will be enough for mankind everywhere?

Doesn't it make more sense that He is getting rid of humanity and not human beings?

Do you understand the difference between the two?

Faith starts where the evidence ends. : )

You can have faith in many things.

Jesus saves you when you beieve He will. That message is from the Bible. His offer is indeed for everyone. Salvation is only through His mercy and grace. We are not worth of His salvation, but even though when we fall short He loves us and He wants to save us when you just accept Him as your Savior. His death paid the ransom. He will do what He said He will do.

The main message of Jesus was love. : )

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, also in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word is God.= Faith is walking the word and believing that god will accomplish it.

Jesus said faith is given to each man--so its a gift that each person on the planet has been given to believe ; now a lot of people put their believe in to use, for there own ideas and desires and beliefs like other gods and religions instead of Jesus the one God Almight sent to die for our sins.and find salvation, and reconciliation with God
When we are judged we will be asked did we us it propel which should be by believing in Jesus but sadly for most of the planets people its only used in them selves and there ideas

Your gift : is to be used wisely ! we will be held accountable for how we used it..God will ask did you believe in my son how will you answer????

To me faith is trusting that God knows his plans for me and that he will be with me in all things I do and the struggles I face are meant to make me more mature. Faith is knowing that even during the times that I don't feel the presence of God, he is holding me in his hand.

Believing in something you cannot see, this is the basic definition. Faith also builds through trust. The more you step out on faith, the more you learn to trust it.

It strange that a "god" of the universe would limit himself to a chosen few throughout history, not to mention being so immensely stuck on faith that he eliminated all evidence for his existence and any that would validate his "book".

That sort of paranoid behavior does not inspire faith.
