I am starting volleyball soon for my third year but I have a problem. I have a weak right wrist and knee. My knee isn't that bad and I'm not that worried about it. I am really nervous about my wrist though. I sprain my wrist at least once a volleyball season, and a few times during the year in other sports too. Whenever my wrist becomes sprained my game becomes messed up for some reason and I can't get back my golden serve which my coach says I have for the rest of the season. What should I do.

With you being an athlete its good to take vitamins to keep you healthy. Find one with glucosomine or take glucosomine tablets. Glucosomine helps strengthen bones and joints. Make sure you eat dairy products i would say drink a glass of milk a day if you like milk. Calcium plays a part in healthy bone development. You can also use ankle weights and tie them around your wrists. rotate your wrists while you have those on to gain strength back in your wrists. they dont have to be ankle weights something with a little weight to it like a bag of sugar. Also ask your parents about these bracelets made out of copper. Older people use them for arthritis but when i was taking karate i wore one. It sends a little magnetic sensation through your body causing the areas you often strain not to hurt AT ALL. Their awesome to use and they are cheap.

There's no miracle treatment - the only thing that works in the long-run is stretching and strength training. Talk to your volleyball coach and see if he/she can show you some wrist exercises and stretching techniques. You could also see if your family doctor can send you to a physical therapist for an evaluation. The wrist brace idea is a good one.

This web link has some good info for strengthening and stretching your wrist:

you might have a few early indicators of carpal tunnel syndrome from the typing. I could speak to you medical professional and he might propose x-rays. I even have week wrists from breaking them so sometimes, I used to do wrist physical games to enhance them. Exercises like lifting a pound or 2 and doing "wrist-ups." Just like with any endeavor paintings up the reps.
