I Corinthians 13

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

All religion preached righteousness, but there is no righteousness without Love. Would you please just love?

I love your question and your spirit~!~

I love all my enemy's if I have any, I am sure I do. But we all do what we have to, to protect ourselves, families, and others.
We can allow God to fight for us, but sometimes we do have to do it ourselves, as He is by our side.

Unfortunately, I can only give you one gold star.

Jesus entire mission on earth was to try to get people to love one another. When the scholar asked Jesus what was the key to eternal life, Jesus did NOT say it was to believe in Him. He said to love God with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength and your neighbor as yourself. Every one of Jesus parables was about loving others and treating them with respect and justice.

Love includes justice. If a people is wicked beyond repentence, withholding justice is not love. Note that in the story of the flood, God preserved a remnant of the human race to start over.
