We have a 98 DGC and recently it has been stalling on us. It has done this 3 times all when taking a right hand turn (coincidence?) Sometimes the car starts again but most of the time we have to leave it sit for hours before getting it to go again. The shop did not find any error codes. Any ideas? Fuel pump?

Hope this helps. It sounds like a weak pump to me. Try getting it to do it with a full tank of gas. If you can, that means a weak pump. Another way to find out is to carry a rubber hammer with you and whack the bottom of the tank in the middle a couple of times. That's where the pump sets. Then see if it starts. Or connect a fuel pressure gage onto the fuel rail on the motor and check for low or no pressure the next time it dies and won't start. Any of these will indicate a weak pump. A weak or non working pump will seldom set a code unless it is acting up on the highway. Then it will set a code ' running lean'. But this seldom happens.
